The Space:
Perched on the hillside of Carbon Beach, this spectacular villa offers rare views of the Pacific Ocean. Located on a private street in the heart of Malibu, with 4 bedrooms and 5 baths, it can accommodate up to 10 guests. Just a short drive off the scenic PCH.

Bedroom configurations are as follows:
• Primary Room - King Size Bed, Ensuite bath with shower and large jacuzzi bath-tub, Smart TV, Walk-in Closet and breathtaking ocean views, located on 1st floor
• Guest Bedroom #1 - Queen Size Bed, Smart TV, Ensuite Bath, Closet, located on 1st floor
• Guest Bedroom #2 - 2 Twin Size Beds, Smart TV, Jack and ill Bath, Closet and Ocean Views, located on 2nd floor
• Guest Bedroom #3 - Queen Size Bed, Smart TV, Jack and Jill Bath, large closet, Ocean Views, located on 2nd floor
• There is a queen size pull-out sofa in the den area that can sleep an additional 2 guests.
The home is on a quiet road that leads to PCH at the bottom of the hill. Across the street is Malibu's Carbon Beach (also known as Billionaire's Beach), a sought-after area. There are plenty of restaurants and shops along the coastline, and beach access is only steps away. Malibu's most popular destinations, including Nobu, Soho House, The Malibu Pier, and Surfrider Beach, can be seen from a bird's-eye view.
IMPORTANT: We are a professional property management company and use a professional PMS system. Our PMS integration limits our ability to charge a credit card processing fee, however, a credit card processing fee is a hard cost to us. We have to charge a 3.55% CC processing fee based on the total charges displayed on the platform. International Credit Cards have an additional 1 to 1.5% on top of the 3.55% for exchange rates totalling almost 4.7% in fees. Please note, that if you do not want to incur the CC processing fee you can send a bank wire. If you send a request to book your CC will only be charged the platform fee. We will not charge your card until we confirm with you. Someone from our team will reach out to you.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home and garage.
The Neighborhood:
The home is located on the hillside opposite Carbon Beach (also known as Billionaire's Beach). The home is located on a private road and the home itself is gated. There are plenty of shops and restaurants down on PCH at the bottom of the hill.
Getting Around:
You can use Uber or you can ask us about our car rental program through Drive Awhile.
Other Things to Note:
Please message our team and speak with the Home Manage before booking. Mandatory additional terms may apply depending on your booking platform. Credit card processing fee may be required post-booking. In case of cancellation, the stated booking cancellation policy applies. The 'Reservation fee' is our non-refundable credit card processing fee.
To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully.
1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names before booking. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave.
2) No pets allowed except for service animals as required by law.
3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW.
We are in a high brush fire zone. In effort to prevent wildfires the state can turn utilities on and off intermittently. Stay Awhile will not offer any refunds in this case.
4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If needed, send it to our office; we'll deliver to the property on your arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail.
5) Quiet hours: 10:00pm to 8:00am to ensure peaceful atmosphere for all guests and neighbors.
7) Day of Arrival:
Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show their ID for security.
8) Check-In/Out Info & Requests:
• Check-in: 4:00pm - 6:00pm, $100/hr before 4:00pm or after 6:00pm. Early check-in before 12:00pm incurs a full day fee.
• Check-out: 10:00am, $100/hr after 10:00am. Late check-out after 12:00pm incurs a full day fee.
• For early/late check-in or late check-out, notify us a day in advance in writing. Approval depends on various factors beyond our control, e.g., property condition, maintenance, staff availability, and unforeseen issues. We'll try to accommodate your request, but approval IS NOT GUARANTEED. Please inform us promptly of your request.
9) When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.
10) Pre Stocking:
We have a list of pre-stocking options that guests are able to choose from. Pre-stock requests typically require at least one week advance notice. There will be a $150 service charge or 20% service charge (whichever one is greater) for all pre-stocking requests.
11) Pool/hot tub: Never leave children unsupervised; no lifeguard on duty. No glassware; $1000 fee if glass is found. Use provided plasticware for safety. If kitchen lacks plasticware, please inform us. Please don't dispose of plasticware; wash and store them. Pool heating: $100/day of your reservation; hot tub is free.
12) Parking:
After you enter the gate, there will be a long driveway large enough to accommodate about 4-5 vehicles. Additionally, there is a garage port that can accommodate 2 more vehicles. So, the property can hold around 6-7 vehicles. It is also worth noting that parking is unavailable on the street at this property since the road is too small and winding to fit parked cars.
Cleanliness:
We take our cleaning seriously. You can trust that our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. All of our homes have white hotel-style linens, white towels, toiletries for our guests, and well stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. Amid COVID-19, our cleaning intensified: surfaces wiped with hot water and disinfectants. All towels and linens washed, regardless of appearance; many hotels don't. Door handles and high-touch spots get extra care. Staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. Our exceptional cleaning surpasses CDC standards.

Family vacation to Malibu. This property was fantastic. The views are about as good as you can get. The house was beautiful and the newly redone infinity pool and jacuzzi were the favorites of our kids. The location is great right across from Malibu pier and about 1 mile from the Malibu Colony shopping and food district. The hosts were awesome and showed us how to use everything and answered all of our questions. Really fantastic experience all around.
Our family of 4 loved our trip to Malibu and this beautiful home! Alex (our contact with Stay Awhile) went out of his way to make sure we got into the house after our flight was delayed and we didn't get in until 2am. When we woke up the next morning we were amazed by the beautiful views. The infinity pool (not currently in the photos) is gorgeous--and we had so much on the second level of the deck playing corn hole with our 2 teenage daughters. The house is centrally located in Malibu. Right up the hill from the pier and Malibu Country Mart. We can't wait to return!!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The pool was renovated recently and is now an infinity pool with hot tub attached. The layout was great for us to spread out and still get some work done during the week. The entire house was incredibly clean and served us just like our own little resort with great amenities. The privacy is great and we will definitely be coming back soon!
