Excellent pied a terre to explore Brittany or just to go to one of the beautiful beaches near Cancale. I misread the ad as mentioning 'washer' (it was a DISH-washer, which we used gratefully) and it does not have a conventional oven, just a microwave. Still we found it easy to walk down into the port for dinner (the obligatory oysters, although the children were not fans! - pizza and other foods also available)

The complex and pool were lovely. The 3-bedroomed apartment was basically a 2-bedroomed with a bunk bed placed in the entrance hall. This is fine if you've got older children, but I wouldn't have been comfortable with younger children sleeping there. Very clean and had everything we needed, except the listing on VRBO states that there are towels provided. We were told on check in that this wasn't the case. There is also no hairdryer, washer, dryer. Well I didn't find them if they were there anyway! The pool was lovely, was used every day of our stay. The outside space at our apartment was useful and fairly private. Overall a very nice stay at a good price. The lack of amenities mentioned would not have been a problem if we had known before arriving.

A holiday village located a 20 minute walk from the pretty seaside town of Cancale. It has a nice pool and is best suited to families with young children. The accommodation is basic but clean and functional. The WiFi is dreadful and is like bad hotel WiFi from 2010. Frequent disconnects and so slow it was often useless. Staff are friendly and helpful. There seemed to be some miscommunication between the site the location advertised themselves on and VRBO. I missed some communication and the VRBO description was not fully correct. (They don’t provide towels).

WLAN access was very cumbersome, the pool was fine, location also. The house itself was quite small, the living room too small. The furniture was worn down. We had a nice little outside seating area. You can walk to the nearby beach. Beaches for swimming is a 10 min car ride away. Quite expensive for what it is.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was good for what we needed. We had 3 adults and 1 child in our 3 bedroom rental. Could have added one more child if needed. The kitchen had the basics. The pool was a fun place for the kids even in the cool weather. Front desk person was friendly and outgoing. Dislikes. Far from Cancale. Farther than I realized. Towels were not included. Basic Kitchen stuff like towels, sponge, soap were not included. Internet did not work. However, cellular was fine so only an issue for the kids stuff. Beautiful town and area...nice to escape the crowds of Paris...Mont Saint Michelle is an easy commute....downtown Cancale did have parking available and dining was good.

We greatly enjoyed our time at Le Village Cancalais, especially the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I was happy that a broken lightbulb was quickly replaced. A nice little house, although the kitchen is very limited. It’s only a short walk down to the port however!

The property was clean, but that was it's best attribute. It had no character, and mainly attracted large families with lots of children. It was quite noisy, and was very busy, as many of the units packed a lot of people into them. I would not go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Village Cancalais. We had a 6 bedroom cottage for four of us which was very comfortable. We had breakfast in the café onsite (delicious continental breakfast) but it is also possible to order pain au chocolat etc. to collect in the morning and eat at your cottage. Our sons thoroughly enjoyed the lovely pool - especially the bubbles and little waterfall! Cancale is a really lovely, traditional town - great walks and wonderful restaurants and creperies. Also close to Mont Saint Michel, St Malo, Dinard and sheltered family beaches.
