Stayed Dec 31, 1969On the plus side, this is a recently-built house in a very clean condition in a quiet area close to two great beaches. Also the advertised rate is quite attractive. However, on the downside, we only discovered after requesting the booking that a further booking form was required by the owners. This specified: a significant cash deposit (to be paid on arrival), paying for any electricity over an 8kw daily allowance, no sheets, towels etc are included in the rental (except at significant extra cost), and a hefty cleaning fee which bumps up the overall rental cost (unless you undertake to do it yourself). Even if you don’t opt to clean the house yourself (and they have exacting standards), the owners require you to empty the dishwasher, take out rubbish, and clean the shower after every use (using a two-step cleaning system!) For proper transparency, the above costs and rental conditions should have been made clear in the HomeAway listing, rather than being hidden in an additional contract. The owners are quite particular about how the house should be kept, which doesn’t lead to a relaxing stay. When we arrived, we agreed a check-out time with them. On the day of departure, they arrived early then we felt a bit hassled out. Overall, we would not choose to stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was very neat en new! The owners were very nice people en helpful. Price was right! The surrounding is perfect, clean beaches where you can kite of just relax. Overall: great!
