Hot tub was perfect temp. Would be great if pool was heated too.

Did not like the bathroom set up with glass in French doors?! No privacy!

Nice additions would be clothes hangers and a full length mirror. They had to change our coffee maker twice to get one that worked but did go buy a brand new one when the second one didn’t work properly.

Loved the little cottage! Perfect for relaxing get away.

Great property, very cozy & clean!

Everything was great , location was great room was awesome the shower drain was stopped up and my fault I didn’t contact management Saturday but I did contact them Sunday and they came out right away and fixed the issue. The pool was great I’ve got nothing to complain about I’ll stay there again if we get back to Fredericksburg

Very cute and the bed was comfy. Communication with host was great. The only drawback was the glass doors into the bathroom which allowed no privacy.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. The studio apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and plenty of room for us for our four-day stay. We will bring friends back, and book directly with property.

The wife and I popped over to Fredericksburg for a few nights and the Social Goat was perfect for our needs. Clean room and walkable (10 minutes) to all of the action on main.

Property was represented well and is a great place for 2 people.Quiet, clean and kept.Would stay again.

Our room was very comfortable and accommodating. The bed and sheets were so comfortable!! We will definitely rent with Main Street Retreat again and recommend to our friends!!

Overall, it was a great location and a nice property. Unfortunately there were a few things that needed work. The hot tub Jets worked the first night we got there and but the control broke to turn on the Jets. We were there four more days and it was never fixed during our stay. The fireplace remote control did not work the floor was very dirty. After walking around with bare feet, the bottom of your feet were black.

We really enjoyed the cottage and hot tub. Everything was perfect. We will be back.

We loved our stay. I do have a couple of suggestions. The french doors leading to the restroom need curtains or something to cover the windows for privacy. I would also recommend putting a Keurig instead of a regular small coffee pot. The room was clean but when I pulled the sheets back there were several black hairs on the sheets. We always enjoy staying at Absolute Charms properties. I hope this helps. Thank you.

This was a cozy little cabin. Very cleanand quiet.

We loved our stay. It was our first time but would definitely do it again. Maintenance was amazing when we had a problem with a wobbly toilet. We have recommended this place to a friend. We loved being that close to the pool. We also loved the location, it was close to everything.

Great refurbished, updated retro motel cabins 1940's. Immaculate, rooms decorated nicely and large. Pool area small but accommodating. A little further from the main town area than I thought, so we needed to drive, but that was ok.

Loved our little cottage. Peaceful, convenient and comfortable. This was our second time to stay at Main Street resort. Only suggestion is to have a full length mirror somewhere in the room. Bathroom was very spacious and nice for two to get ready at the same time but mirrors were high and small over the double vanity. We will definitely book again.

Absolute charm is exactly what this little cottage was. The Social Goat was very clean and just steps from the pool and hot tub. Very convenient location and close to the downtown area. We will definitely return!

We love staying at Main Street Retreat cottages, but some have comletely open bathroom doors that make privacy difficult! Could easily be coverd by liner panels or frosted glass panels. ONLY complaint!

The rental was clean and cozy. A couple of lights need replacing and the bathroom door could use a curtain (privacy). The pool was freezing and the hot tub was an ice box. Otherwise, the location was awesome, the unit was comfortable and there was ample parking.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time, and our room was The Social Goat. We loved it! We thought it was a great location considering it isn't very close to the city center but still manageable to talk there. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. I loved the covered porch, and it was very nice to have 2 chairs and a table.
