We really liked our little cottage. It has a huge bathroom and shower, really comfortable bed and two comfy lounge chairs. The fireplace was a bonus! We were just a few steps from the outdoor hot tub, where we could look up at the stars. Only things we didn't like: we could hear some traffic from our cottage from the main road and it was a little bit too far to walk to downtown. Everything else was wonderful!

Absolutely had the best time! This place was super clean, modern decor was beautiful and it was very quiet. We had everything we needed and the special touches, wine opener and fireplace made this the perfect birthday get away!!!

My husbands bad back needed a different mattress and the room was pretty warm. Looks like it use to have AC and now has a walk unit placed closer to the kitchen than the sleeping area. Perhaps relocating that or going back to AC would make the room cooler.

The layout of the property has a home feel. I love the privacy of each small house but the feeling of community. It was very clean and comfortable. Perfect water pressure, easy access, and great communication from the staff. My go to place in Fredricksburg.

Shower was dirty, tissue box was out, and the soap in the bathroom was out. AC took time to cool down.

We came to Fredericksburg to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Loved our cozy cabin at Main Street Retreat. Super convenient and close to downtown. Will definitely be back!

Place was wonderful carpet in room are dangerously slippery daughter fell. Bed needs a new mattress bit worn. And pool and hot tub need to be taken better care of water in hot tub was smelly. And there were people who showed up used hot tub for hours and then left pretty sure they didn't say. But we really enjoyed our stay nothing that can't be fixed. Close to everything and some things with in walking distance.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. Clean, cozy, cute! It's super close to downtown with very easy access in and out. Definitely would stay here again. Couple things that need attention are the air conditioner makes a squealing noise which made it difficult to sleep at night. Also the shower door has come loose at the bottom so it moves a lot when trying to open and close it. Thanks again for a great weekend!

Beautifully decorated. Area rug had no grip and recliner chairs were difficult to get out of. More rugs bedside had no grip. Bathroom was really nice. Air conditioning unit was loud on occasion. Overall a nice property.

The quaint feel of the property was just want we were looking for. The room was so cute and cozy, exactly enough space for 2. We loved the fireplace especially. The bed was very comfortable as well. My only critiques would be that it's very dark on property after sundown so if you enjoy the hot tub it's in the dark. Also the WiFi was very slow. Nothing that would keep us from returning though which we plan to do next year!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the humble plum. It was clean, quiet and quaint for a couples weekend. We were so close to the main town center and the pool was a plus. We will definitely come back to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at your place. The two things i would recommend are placing a new light bulb at the front door and the drapes are hung wrong. The ends of drapes need to be hung where they face the wall. Presently they face outward.

These cottages are one of our favorite places to stay in Fredericksburg with one exception only. Although we were extremely happy that unit 6 had a solid bathroom door, our traveling companions had the glass bathroom door that we have had in almost every other cabin we've stayed in on this property. It would be such a simple fix to frost or cover the glass on the bathroom doors. No one wants to poop with the door open and that is exactly what it feels like in the cabins that have those glass panel doors.

This is a wonderful, cute place that is perfect for a couple. We were a quarter mile from historic downtown. The place was nice, updated, clean, and there was a nice pool. We really enjoyed our time here.

The humble plumb was located just right outside the hot tub and pool area. We were only there two nights but the place was clean and cozy . It was decorated so nice and made you feel right at home . Best part, wine tours pick up from that location so we didn't have to drive !
