I like that it had plenty of space for 6 people.
Lovely place, very aesthetically pleasing with the 70's vibe, great location, well stocked, nice kitchen, laundry was great. We just had the bad luck to be there in summer with record high temperatures in the 90's everyday and no air-conditioning. Idaho is dry so at least it wasn't the muggy high humidity heat of Savannah GA. I will say it did cool down a few hours after the sunset and early mornings were cool but otherwise very hot and hard to tolerate, especially for us wimps from the East Coast where AC is standard, I guess out west not having AC is a thing. I think in the winter this would be a great place, I would stay here again in the winter but no way in the summer. My main suggestion for VRBO in general and this property specifically is the listing should clearly indicate something as basic and taken for granted as AC, I scoured the property listing just to make sure I hadn't missed anything. It should be in bold lettering that there is no Air Conditioning so potential renters can make an informed decision. The listing does not indicate whether it does or does not have heat but I assume it does, just like I assumed it had AC.
We had an enjoyable time in this 70’s throwback. Unusually hot during this stay but owner provided fans and a small A/C. Master bath is tub only and no shower. There is a downstairs tenant…they were accommodating with our parking needs.
One of the three bedrooms window blinds were broken and could not be closed. There were not enough bath towels for the six guests. Renters from the basement came upstairs without notice or warning. The yard is not cared for and look terrible. The wooden deck hadn’t been painted or stained in years everything looked rundown and was not appealing. The beds in two of the bedrooms were too small for two adults. The air conditioner was not working.
The place was great for our entire family ti stay together. We had a great time
House is in good location. No AC, so if you are used to sleep with AC on, this place is not for you. It is getting colder during night, but still hot. Dishwasher was out of order and owner was trying hard to fix it, otherwise good.
We traveled to Rexburg over a particularly hot weekend and the owners brought a few fans but the house was SO hot. We stayed 3 nights but avoided coming back until absolutely necessary and left as soon as we could in the morning. With our young kids and Grandma with us it was a little stressful. If it hadn't been so hot it could have been a good place. The location is on a busy road and the front and back yards are overgrown so the kids couldn't even play outside. If the listing had mentioned that there was no Air conditioning we would definitely not have rented this property.
There were 4 of us, and this was a great property to stay at. We spent a couple days in Yellowstone and hung around Rexburg and surrounding towns a couple days, the property is nice and central in Rexburg and not too far from other interests. Definitely would stay here again!
This was a great space for our family to get together. The beds were good and the towels soft. There is no air conditioning. It was hot during our stay. We would come again.
Quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Great location close to everything.
