Loved this property. I'm originally from Gloucester and we took 2 couples from Florida with us to stay here. I'm really fussy about where I stay and I have to say this property was fabulous. It is one of the best places we have stayed at and was very well equipped with more than we needed. I know this home is well loved and that the family stays here as well. Location is perfect for a beautiful walk and access to Gloucester beaches are not too far. Only thing missing is a fire pit although I understand why ad some feel it could be a liability.Hope to stay here again!

Fully equipped and comfortable house with a beautiful yard. The host was helpful and clear on all instructions. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

The house was awesome. It was very clean and met our needs. The gardens were beautiful. The host, Gary, was very good with responding to our questions and giving us information about restaurants and sightseeing attractions. I would recommend this house. Very nice!

Lovely space. Very clean and well appointed. The door is a little tricky to lock, but otherwise it was an excellent stay.

My husband and I stayed here with our adult son and daughter for three days to attend a cousin's wedding in Salem. The home was very comfortable, stocked with everything we needed, including Twister and tons of other games, and when we'd sit on the upstairs deck it felt like we were relaxing among the treetops. The beautifully landscaped grounds had massive rocks, two separate grassy areas, a koi pond, and lots of flowers.

We were very pleasantly surprised how perfect the Magnolia-by-the-Sea house was for our two families. The 4 adults upstairs and the 2 teenage boys downstairs. The house was in a great location. Traveled to Boston, Salem and enjoyed Gloucester. Walking distance to restaurants, the ocean and the boardwalk. Everything was terrific. House was clean, lots of amenities (including things like tissues and real soap), comfortable beds, lots of towels and kitchen fully equipped. It was perfect for our family birthday celebration and thank the owner for his quick responses, suggestions what to do and follow up. We hope to be back in the future.

This property was perfect for our stay, well-suited for my family which included 2 small children. The kitchen was well-equipped and everyone enjoyed playing in the back yard. The location was quiet, and yet close to where we wanted to be. Thank you!

Perfectly situated in a Quaint town. A Litte County in a Beach Town. Landscaping so Natural. The House is a very comfortable place.

The house was just as listed, and came with all amenities needed. The host was super communicative and helpful during planning, check in, and during the stay. Would definitely recommend staying here if you have a large group, it was perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay in Magnolia! We were so excited just pulling up to see how lovely the gardens were, and then when we went inside we were thrilled to see that the photos didn't do the house justice - it's even nicer than we expected! Perfectly clean, it had just about anything we could think to use in the kitchen (except spices, but that's no big deal), and plenty of towels & beach chairs, boogie boards and tons of fun sports equipment for my nephews to enjoy. My parents declared it the best VRBO we've stayed in so far! Rick was a great host - excellent communication and very helpful. The guide left at the house was also really helpful - especially with regard to the local beach as it's a little trickier to use than just walking down to it. The local restaurants in walking distance were great! We ate down the street half the nights we were there, and a couple of breakfasts too. And it was so nice to take a walk down to the pier every night for the sunset. We might have been a little crowded if all 9 of us had come, but as it was, it was great. My nephew who used the pull-out bed in the basement said it was comfortable. And one nephew even slept on the sofa upstairs and said it was great. All in all, we loved our time in Magnolia! Definitely considering come back again next year!
