Stayed Jul 15, 2023The house does have 5 ensuite bedrooms, but that is where the accuracy of the online information stops. Upon check-in, the property manager decides to bad mouth the previous renters and how it took them a long time to clean the property, hence the late check-in. We immediately felt that the house was very hot despite the A/C being on max. When we asked her why, she replied that the house that they had all the windows open during cleaning to air out the house, and it would eventually cool down. Well, that was the first lie. The house never cooled down. She ended up sending a few fans over but they were not helpful either. The internet/WIFI at the house was extremely poor, and because of the location of the house, there was no cell service. This issue really hampered our ability to work and communicate. The other major issue was that one day around 6 pm, the entire house lost electricity. we tried calling and texting the property manager but she would not pick up. I eventually had to drive down 3 miles to find decent cell service to call VRBO for help. They were sympathetic an tried to call the property manager as well and were unsuccessful. Finally, after 3 hours, she called us back and said that she had misplaced her phone. She ended up sending someone over to flip a switch outside of the property to bring electricity back on and mentioned that this was a common occurrence. This, by far, was the worst experience that I have had renting through VRBO.
