This gorgeous custom built Eureka Montana log home is roughly 2,800 square feet with massive 30 ft ceilings. Each large bedroom has a California King sized bed and there are 4 extra long twin beds in the loft area (Brand new Comfort Tech 10 Serene Foam Mattresses). The large master suite with big screen tv is downstairs with a large master bath and there are two bedrooms and one large bathroom that spans the width of the house upstairs. The cabin features a very dramatic 30 foot vault thatwords do not properly describe.

This log home is incredibly open inside with two Big Country wood stoves in one gigantic great room that is open from kitchen to dining room to the two living rooms. It is truly an artisan home and has custom craftsman features throughout. From the huge earth slate kitchen to the gigantic river rock fireplace to the 5 foot wide Wolf stove you will certainly feel right at home as soon as you step foot inside.

The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms- four sinks (two in each bathroom), three toilets (two in one bathroom and one in the master bathroom) a Jacuzzi tub in the master bath and a separate shower in the master bathroom and a combo tub/shower in the upstairs bathroom.

The house sits on the rear corner of a ten acre lot surrounded by woods in all directions. It is incredibly quiet, private and it is oh so relaxing sitting out on the massive front porch. The home has STARLINK ($150mo) Satellite Internet for lightning fast Internet access! The master bedroom has a new HDTV 65 and the second bedroom has a 42 high def flat screen upstairs with Direct TV and DVD/Netflix ect. in master and 200 channels of satellite in both. I purposely do not have a tv out in the common area because that is not why you are up there. I try to create an environment for families and friends to commune over the days adventures or recalling memories of fun past stories or a quiet environment to read and relax in. My home also has four ring cameras - a separate camera to cover each side of the home for security reasons and one additional camera at the entry to my driveway. I like to make everyone aware of this fact to protect all parties concerned. The two bedrooms upstairs have large output AC units for the very rare heat waves that happen every now and then as well as three tower AC blowers and numerous fans. The Master bedroom is cool even during the worst heatwaves and the temps always come back down at night!

The home is also just minutes away from the airport, the town of Whitefish, the ski area, numerous lakes and golf courses and yet you feel completely lost at a secluded lodge when you drive into the home at the back of ten acres and across the street from over 2,000 acres of state owned land. What this means to you and your family and friends is total privacy!

It is very conveniently located off of Fwy 93 and to FCA airport, 10 minutes to downtown Whitefish, 15 minutes to downtown Kalispell, 20 to 30 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Ski Area and 40 minutes to Glacier National Park. If you are coming to my home in winter time it is highly recommended to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to not only get into and out of my property but to feel safe/be safe on any of the roadways in Montana in the winter.

In the summer you are within 20 minutes of Glacier International Airport, 40 minutes from Glacier National Park, 10 minutes to Big Mountain Golf Course, 10 to Whitefish Golf Courses, 10 minutes to the Whitefish Lake or 30 to the Whitefish Ski Resort. You can walk or mountain bike for miles right from the front door. There is just so much to do in the area!

I do not regulate the ages of the renters in the home but the renter assumes all liability for the actions of those renting the home. The home is not designed for elderly renters or very young children renters. As you can see in all of the photos there are no railings around the front porch and the ground is quite a ways below the deck. There is a new Hand Railing for the front entry steps (five steps or roughly 30 in rise). There is a hammock in the summer months that can be taken down by the renter (at their discretion) but if someone falls out of it they will be hurt and it is renters responsibility. The railing upstairs in the loft should not be played on and there is one bed against the railing that a child could fall over if they were jumping on the bed or rough housing. The home is designed for ADULTS and NOT CHILDREN. I have had hundreds and hundreds of children stay at the house but their parents regulated their location and their behavior and no accidents have ever occurred and I want to keep it that way. If an accident does occur the liability is to fall on the renter. Prior to any rental it is hereby stated clearly that the renter understands these risks and accepts full liability for the actions and outcomes of the people under their care. If there are any questions regarding the conditions mentioned in this paragraph please ask me! THANK YOU!!! Also - Glacier National Park entry is constantly changing so please google and do your due diligence based on what you are trying to accomplish in the park!

This was one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in. The kitchen lacks for nothing - every appliance and convenience that you can think of is there! The house is spacious, the beds are comfortable and the bath towels are perfect. The host responds with lightning speed to all questions and requests. Two fireplaces add to the ambiance and it didn't hurt that it snowed during our visit making the house even more cozy. We look forward to staying there again!

In short, pictures don’t do the house justice and the owner was very communicative. The stoves were ready to go and the cook stove was a joy to cook breakfast on for my family. I can’t wait to come back to Montana and stay here again!

Wonderful home exactly as described in the listing. Fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room and dining room, comfortable beds, and on-site laundry. Perfect for my family’s visit to Glacier National Park! Bob was a terrific host with lots of good recommendations for places to eat in town and many maps and activity brochures on-site. Would definitely stay there again if traveling back to Montana.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay! The house was gorgeous and peaceful! There were 7 of us (5 adults, and 2 children) and we had plenty of space to spread out. We didn’t see or hear any neighbors but were close enough to town to do the things we wanted. We would definitely come back to this property!

Fantastic cabin, very clean, great property, owner gave very easy and specific directions. The only negative we could find would be that we had a couple of hot nights and only one room has air conditioning. The cabin was very spacious and setup to accommodate several people and allow each to have their own space.

We could leave volumes about our stay! What a fantastic stay. The house is located in the perfect spot. We drove into GNP and hiked daily. Went to Whitefish Mountain Resort, rented a boat on Flathead lake, took in a local rodeo, shopped in Kallispel and Whitefish and even drove to the east entrance of GNP and drive GTTS road all the way through. We felt so at home and our family of six had an amazing time lounging on the porch with coffee and evening drinks, big dinners and so quiet. Bob is the perfect host and responded to messages quickly. The BEST vacation ever. We will be back! Pictures don’t capture just how beautiful this house is!

Large, clean cabin located between Whitefish and Kalispell. This was very advantageous for our family as we sought out local restaurants and wasn't too far from Glacier National Park. We had perfect weather for our entire stay (6 nights) so the cabin was cool at night and not too hot during the day. Great kitchen, beds, and bathrooms. We don't cook very much while on vacation but the amenities in the kitchen were plentiful and convenient. Beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the massive porch watching a couple of deer and nest of baby robins right off the porch each afternoon and evening. We had great communication with Robert before we got there and really didn't need anything while we were staying at the cabin. Highly recommend especially for a larger group.

me and my siblings are scattered throughout Montana and Washington State and we love getting together while our 80 year old parents are alive and well living in Kalispell. We look forward to visiting with them but don't want to land on them and take over their place, thus renting a house for us to gather and host them is ideal. This place is fabulous! Enough room in the common areas to gather and play games and the kitchen is laid out well for multiple people moving about and doing their prep duties. The outdoor space is perfection in good weather with a huge deck that goes completely around the cabin so we always found the sunny spots. My only wish was one more bedroom- my sister and I slept in the loft area which was fine because our husbands were missing and we were the last ones awake at night but the beds in the loft really are meant for youngsters in my opinion due to the quality of the mattresses in that area. Having said that, the owner makes great use of the space to maximize a houseful. We had a blast and look forward to staying there again.

The cabin was spacious and in great condition, able to provide more than enough accomodations for a group of 5 adult men. We especially enjoyed the fully featured kitchen and TWO fireplaces with ample supply of firewood provided. The location was a medium length drive to the Whitefish ski resort, and close to the airport and shopping as well. Bob was extremely communicative and a gracious host. There was a minor unfortunate with internet connectivity outside of his control, however he was on top of it and was able to provide a satisfactory resolution. Also appreciated the fact that he did not demand a long list of chores before checking out like some other owners that try and get free labor from their guests.Book with confidence, and be sure to bring plenty of meat for the grill!

What an amazing find! Being surrrounded by 10 acres was just a lovely setting for our last 3 days/nights in the area. The cabin is so spacious and welcoming. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed morning fires in the wood stove. The location was great for our treks back and forth to Glacier and proximity to the airport. Bob was an excellent and gracious host; very communicative throughout the entire rental process. We wish we would have had more time to take in the surroundings on that fantastic wrap around porch... maybe next time!

This property is absolutely amazing! The cabin is beautiful, very well taking care of, and has a kitchen that is stocked better than my own home! The property is remote enough to feel private yet close enough to town that if you need something, it is easily accessible. It is the perfect location! I am very particular when I rent a VRBO home. This home was more than I could ask for. The beauty of the cabin, the beauty of the property, and the communication with the owner was absolutely top-notch! Bob gave me his cell number and was very accessible the whole time we were there. I had one small question and he was quick to respond. Bob is the best! If you are looking for a Montana experience, this cabin and property will not disappoint! I can’t wait to get back there next year! Thank you, Bob, for allowing my family to stay at your beautiful cabin. And, thank you for all your kindness while we were there!

To start, Bob the owner was amazing!!! He communicated with me from start to finish! The log cabin was spectacular. Windows looking out to the beautiful forest. Deer were out every morning and a couple evenings. The kitchen was huge, wonderful and spectacular, a gourmet kitchen in my book. Our grandkids loved the bunk beds. There are not enough words to express how at home and wonderful we felt there. This property was not far from Glacier National Park. Whitefish was right up the road and Kalispell was right there also. We had an amazing stay and THANK YOU Bob for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin!

I came up to Montana for a short week of relaxation and, wow, this unique log cabin certainly delivered! This private, beautiful cabin sits at the end of a long driveway off a tranquil road and the “curb appeal” is fantastic. Inside, the cabin is cozy, sparkling clean, and even has creature comforts like magazines, a cool chess board and helpful books about hikes in Glacier National Park (we used it to do research). You can tell there is a pride of ownership! The house features an amazing wrap-around deck with Adirondack chairs, a dining table, and a hammock, perfect for all day leisure – coffee-to-cocktail. I didn’t use it because I came with one other person, but the upstairs features an adorable bunk bed area that any kid would love. The location halfway between Kalispell and Whitefish is perfect. You get acres and acres of peaceful green, but are still a short drive from Glacier National Park, restaurants, markets, and gyms. I can’t wait to come back in the winter to get the two fireplaces going and get comfy with a good book. A zillion stars for this really special home away from home.

House was large enough for the 9 of us. Very private location. Could use a deep cleaning and updated furnishings. Seemed cluttered with ‘leftover’ coolers, buckets, etc. Leftover food in refrigerator and cabinets that most wouldn’t feel comfortable using. No A/C so it was a little warm and didn’t feel Comfortable leaving downstairs windows open while sleeping as suggested. Many fans provided but loft and upstairs remained very warm. A large industrial floor fan in the living room was the method to provide air to the upstairs.
