We’ve stayed at the Magical SF Bay Beachfront Luxury Retreat several times now, and each time it feels like stepping into a peaceful dream. This cozy, houseboat-like haven is nestled right on the water, with absolutely stunning views—sunsets, city sparkles, and cloudscapes that could make a poet weep. The air is crisp and salty, the vibe is quiet and calming, and it’s the perfect place to just unplug and be. We mostly stay in, read, watch the light change, and feel our stress melt away. Every time we leave, our hearts break a little. Already dreaming of next year. Viv and Jeff are the perfect hosts... thank you for that, dear friends!

Far beyond our expectations

The host was excellent and extremely responsive. We really enjoyed the views and serenity of the space and neighborhood. House had everything and more to ensure a comfortable stay. Enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and convenient location while providing a calm escape from the city.

Beautifully simple accommodations with a fantastic view.

This is perhaps the best view in all of the Bay Area and the nicest hosts around. We loved the few days we spent here and hope to be back in future trips.

The house has spectacular views and is very quiet and clean. It has everything you might need. The host is super nice and responsive.

My husband and I eagerly anticipate our annual October retreats to Vivien's enchanting haven in Point Richmond. The moment we step inside, we're greeted by breathtaking vistas from the living room and deck—vivid sunsets melting into the horizon and the twinkling San Francisco skyline casting its magic. The home is a masterpiece of comfort and style, so well-appointed that it feels like our own personal sanctuary. Vivien and Jeff are the epitome of gracious hosts, their warmth and kindness making each stay unforgettable. Once we settle in, the tranquil waterfront setting is so mesmerizing that we find it nearly impossible to leave.

Five fabulous women stayed here for a yearly reunion. The location is amazing and the walk into town was scenic and fun ( look for the fairy houses!). The hosts were lovely and had some great recommendations for local sites and activities. The unit itself was very comfortable with all amenities listed. It slept the five of us comfortably. The deck with views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge was definitely the highlight of this beautiful place. Would definitely book again!

Our family of five (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed here as our home base for a one-week Bay Area adventure. Vivien was a wonderful communicator and offered great suggestions. She has an informative binder that details everything from local restaurants and grocers to how the light switches work. We all felt so comfortable relaxing in the morning, walking up and down some impressive hills into the picturesque town, and gazing over the water at the San Francisco skyline. I highly recommend staying in this lovely home! It was the perfect spot to serve as our home away from home as we explored Marin County, San Francisco, Muir Woods, Alcatraz, and even a road trip to Yosemite!

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The deck and beach was spectacular! It was a perfect location for all of our destinations in the area. The view was incredible and our children loved throwing rocks down at the beach. Vivien was an amazing host- very responsive and cared about the details. She was extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations when needed. We would stay here again!
