M & M Lodge - Gorgeous and large log home in town with incredible lake views!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was not clean on outside. Tables needed to be washed. I washed them. The queen size bed on main floor could not be slept in because deodorizing spray on bedding was overwhelming. Floor needed to be washed. PM did not respond to text or emails at times. Let them know that a wedding ring had been lost in the response. Disappointed in property managements response time.

The house was exactly as advertised. The location is a very short walk to the quaint downtown and minutes from RMNP. Everyone agreed that they want to come back!

The M&M Lodge is conveniently located just above the town of Grand lake with easy walking access to shopping, dining and the lakefront. The home is spacious and fun for entertaining.

There were 18 of us total, 10 of us stayed at this location, 8 at a nearby cabin. We used our lodge as a gathering spot. The location was perfect for everything we needed. We walked down to town, the marina, St. Anne Catholic church, and the rapids. Close to town yet set back in a beautiful setting with rocks for the grands to climb in the back and a lake view from the deck in front. The beds were very comfortable, and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The game room downstairs was a nice bonus. The property was clean and well-maintained. The fan in the upstairs room was not working, so we reached out to Grand Mountain Rentals, and they provided one for our use. I definitely would recommend this property if you desire to be close to town but want beautiful views of the lake and mountains, too. We enjoyed the beach, paddleboards, kayaks, hiking, shopping, eating, nightlife, mini golf, go carts, the Rocky Mountain Repertory Company for The Music Man, The Rocky Mountain National Park for animal viewing and Alpine Center. All the shops are nice, but we shopped Humphrey's and Gifts Unlimited the most. We also enjoyed Sagebrush and the Historic Rapids for dining. We did go to the Grand Lake Lodge for the outstanding views. The negatives were minor, but lamp in upstairs bunk room did not work, and no dishcloth in kitchen. Also, maybe a little deep cleaning under sofas and beds. There were candy wrappers under some furniture, but overall great place to stay!

I would like to say that it is much bigger than pictured. The top floor has two bedrooms instead of the one bedroom and loft that's pictured, which was perfect for all 13 of us. I would be happy to recommend this cabin to friends and would love to stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was perfect for celebrating my husband’s 65th birthday with 7 couples from all over Colorado. Bed’s were comfortable, we cooked every meal at the home, fun game room and a fantastic deck with beautiful views. The only complaint is we reserved it for 14 people and we were given 3 garbage bags, 3 dishwasher pods, 1 extra roll of toilet paper on the main level. We ran out of all of those items. We are paying enough, I don’t want to have to bring those items. Also, we didn’t have a dumpster at the property, it was at the rental office location. Luckily one of our guests had a truck. I didn’t want to haul garbage from 14 people and many meals in a car. Loved the property, just a few items could be improved. Checkout was easy and we weren’t expected to do a lot of clean up at the home which was fantastic.
