Luxury Waterfront Home-Still some availability for Summer 2026

House was beautiful and well decorated. Very spacious with a fantastic view. Beds were comfortable and the heating and cooling system worked very well.Lots of board games downstairs as a family of 4 with two young kids we had a great time. Cant wait to come back.

This is probably the 4th time we stayed at this property and will probably not go anywhere else it is so perfect. Great shopping and restaurants nearby. Great hostess. Everything you need plus the beauty of having beach front.

We had a wonderful stay at the Obstreperous Octopus! We rented the home for my brother in laws wedding at Waters Edge Resort. A quick drive to all the wedding festivities and the perfect place to come back to and unwind. The home is family friendly and fit our family and my sister in laws family perfectly. Our kids loved playing on the private beach and sleeping in the bunk bed room. Morning coffee was a real treat on the deck overlooking the water! It’s a great house for entertaining, everything was very clean and the home well maintained for a vacation home. Tara was great to work with, helpful with recommendations and made our stay a breeze. We hope to come back again!

Stunning home on a beautiful scenic beach! All the amenities you could ever ask for and then some! We enjoyed our family stay immensely! There was something for everyone!

I can’t say enough about this property. It’s our 3rd visit and it has everything. The property is clean and has all the amenities you need plus more. The view is absolutely incredible. Location is great. Plenty of great restaurants and shopping.

The Obstreperous Octopus was the perfect place for our family of 10 to stay and celebrate a special birthday long weekend. The home is impeccably clean, furnished with everything you can possibly imagine and need, and has a beautiful water view. Although it was February, we were all warm and comfortable visiting this beautiful home. There are enough TV's for everyone to watch whatever they want, as well as fast and easy to access internet. Summer guests can take advantage of swimming, boating and just relaxing on the multi level deck. I can't really comment on things to do in the area, because we never left the house, other than to drive about 10 minutes away to the grocery store! Tara was very easy to contact and responded quickly to our questions. We highly recommend this home!

This is our second year staying at Tara’s home. And yet again, the house and Tara’s hospitality exceeded our expectations. And the view is beautiful. We hope to stay again next year for our annual girls weekend!

We booked this property conveniently located to have family stay to enjoy the beautiful CT Shoreline. Super quiet and amazing walking and biking area. Perfect Chill if that is what you are looking for. We hosted a small family event prior to our daughter’s wedding and it worked perfectly. Spacious open entertaining areas both inside and out. There was a serious corn hole competition right on the beach and our hosts had these readily available. Grounds are well maintained and parking is conveniently located to great outlet shopping as well as grocery and incidentals. Hard to leave this peaceful plafe..

The house was stunning and the beach was beautiful. Fit our family of 8 with ease. Every bed was comfortable. The house was clean and spacious. Perfect for large groups. Only one downside- we needed to bring all our own towels. Beach towels I understand, but it would have been great if there were bath towels as well. Hosts are lovely and easy to communicate with. We appreciate all they did for us. Even left flowers and wine since it was a milestone birthday!
