'Luxury' Waterfront Home in Lake Erie Wine Country

Great view and wonderful location! Sunsets are amazing here

The true luxury of this home is definitely the backyard deck and the stunning view of the lake! We especially enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit in the evenings, watching the beautiful sunset while making s’mores—such a memorable experience.Inside, the home is nicely decorated, but some wear and tear is noticeable throughout. As noted in the listing, the last renovation was in 2010, and it shows in a few areas—things like a greasy stovetop and oven, dirty caulking around the sinks and tub, and cobwebs around the front door and porch. These are relatively minor issues that could be easily addressed with a little extra attention.Having towels and sheets provided was a definite plus, and being together as a family made the trip special regardless. The owner was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, which we really appreciated!

Beautiful home for our Erie vacation! The host was very prompt when we had any questions!

We stayed a week at this property. It's in a beautiful area surrounded by vineyards and lake views. About 35 minutes from Erie which has a lot to offer. Presque Isle is a must. The town of Northeast is really cute with a park in the center of town and little shops all around. We attended the 4th of July fireworks there and it was a great time. The home is decorated nicely and is cozy. The kitchen is spacious with two refrigerators. There are also two and a half bathrooms. The back deck looks out over the lake and has beautiful sunsets!! The yard stretches out to a sloping drop off with overgrowth along it. I wish that the brush had been cut lower so we could see more of the view, which is one of the best features is this location. The backyard has a picnic table, however it's not comfortable to sit on because the paint is chipping and peeling everywhere. There was some garbage left under the table from the previous renters. We spent a good amount of time at the table and chairs on the deck and also in the enclosed sunroom. There are also places to sit outside in the front of the house. However they were so dirty that we did not use those spaces. The TVs had Roku so we could log into our apps which was nice. With a little warmth and TLC like adding in some hospitable touches and a little better cleaning, this property would have been rated as excellent.

Great vacation. Very relaxing, great view of lake Erie and a super cute house. i would recommend this to a family who is looking for something to do for a little relaxation and fun in the sun.

A nice, convenient place. We were able to have other stop over after reception and spend some time. Lots of room. Shawn good host and communicated ina timely fashion.

The home was perfect, weather stopped us from enjoying the outdoors and yard. We are planning another trip and will see if this home is available.

This house was perfect for our stay. We rented it for a celebration of life for our mother and it was the perfect setting for family and friends to come celebrate and pay tribute. There was plenty of room and the views were beautiful. The house was also perfectly located for our trips to all of the wineries. The only reason I am not giving it four stars (and I mean the only reason) is because it wasn’t clean as it could have been. The main areas were clean but as I have found with most rental homes, there were cobwebs and dust everywhere. For example our daughter was afraid to sleep on the top bunk because the ceiling was filled with cobwebs. There were cobwebs in every corner and crevice of the house. We would definitely rent this house again but hope the owner would take into consideration doing a deeper cleaning for their guests.

The house was fully equipped. Our group enjoyed evenings on the deck and in the sunroom.

We enjoyed our stay very much! So many rooms and beautiful decor throughout the house. In the kitchen, there was any item you could possibly need. The 2, yes 2, refrigerators were such a treat! The place was very clean and cozy. The view of the lake was amazing! We had a fire just about every night. Another treat were the Bald Eagles we saw almost daily- so breathtaking. We WILL be back! Check in was easy, but upon arrival the house was dirty. Spiders and cobwebs EVERYWHERE! The listing details were not accurate. No grill on premise, we had to buy one. No A/C for over 3 days. The beach access listed as down the block was a lake access with old tires and dead fish. blockwas

The house was in a wonderful location with great views the house was well stocked and very clean I would love to stay there again
