Luxury oceanfront home with pool, game room & elevator-family fun at its finest

Absolutely loved our stay and will be back

If your anything like me you want to know exactly what you are renting and you rely on reviews. This review is strictly on the house not Thomas Vacation Rental, they were very nice, helpful and accommodating. Upon entering the house there was 3 large totes filled with dirty sheets and towels. The banister to go upstairs was so dirty, you could tell it had not been cleaned in a very long time and the stairs still had dirt and dust on them. So before unpacking all 20 of us decided to clean and disinfect the house ourselves. The VRBO site said lines and towels were provided, which I verified months prior and was told yes they are, but no bed had linens so we had to call to get them. Once we proved to them they were supposed to be there someone did drop them off to us and took the dirty linen left behind. The beds are very uncomfortable, sag in the middle with spring coming through. None of the TVs in the bedroom worked, which didn’t matter to us. The game room is on the top floor, as soon as you go up the stairs. Only has a cheap pool table. Nothing special. 4 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bedrooms shared a bathroom. Other 2 bedrooms had their own bathroom. 2 bedrooms on the main floor with their own bathrooms. Kitchen was ok in size, lots of dishes but hardly any utensils or silverware. No BBQ utilities at all. The kitchen also had lots of ants, which we bought spray for. As you can see in the pictures there is not enough seating for everyone to sit and eat together. The furniture in the living room was not very clean, it had stains on it. The door to the half bathroom on the main floor didn’t close or lock. The pool area does not have a pool bar, like the description says, no tv down there either. The only thing in the pool area was a round table. 2 of the lounge chairs were broken. There was no umbrella for the pool like description said. The one thing that I really didn’t like was no bathroom in the pool area, you had to go upstairs and threw the house to go to the bathroom. I can say the view of the ocean and beach was amazing. But that was the only amazing thing about this house We were all disappointed. I would not rent this house again.

The location, finishes, and ocean views at this property were absolutely perfect. Our group of golfers enjoyed the visit!

Great location, great house, get vacation, great time!

We liked the house but there were some problems. The kitchen counters and stove had food on it when we arrived. Some of the bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and porch were covered in ants when we arrived. There was a pill on one of the bedroom tables that my 5, 3, and one year old grandchildren were staying in.. A needle was in one of the chairs on the porch that my 2 year old granddaughter sat in. Matches were found. The couch was gross under the cushions. It was covered in food. I was told that there was hospital quality cleaning done. The coffee table and foosball table were broken. Some of the bedroom and bathroom doors didn't close or lock properly. There was suppose to be an umbrella for the pool but the hole for it was clogged with a broken end of an umbrella so we were not able to use it for our small children (4 month old and 1 year old). For the price we paid I feel like we did not get very good service. Most of the problems could have been corrected if someone had checked the house out before we arrived. As I said we liked the house and pool, but I just felt like there were many problems that should have been taken care of before we arrived.
