Stayed Feb 27, 2026First of all the host was super amazing, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. The property is beautiful with breathtaking views! This property has plenty of amenities that made our visit easy. The property had great wifi and very comfortable bedding. It's tucked away privately in the woods, but is only a 10 min drive to from Harrahs Casino. My family truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again.

Stayed Nov 25, 2025The home is absolutely beautiful! The view is breathtaking! My only comments would really be the twin beds in the bunk bedroom are a little small for adults, and the listing indicates there are twin beds in the living areas, but the sofas do not pull out into beds. Fortunately, we had four of our family that were not able to join us as if they had, we would have not had ample sleeping space for everyone. But the view is absolutely breathtaking! The home is well equipped with cookware and dish, dishware, and all the essentials that you would need. And the fresh roses were a beautiful touch. And Kelsey was very responsive to any questions we had and was very quick to let us know when there were issues with the drive up as they were moving a house across the street and the road was blocked for a few of the days.

Stayed Nov 14, 2025Our host was most accommodating…from providing a highchair and pack&play to early access. The view from the front door (and anywhere else on the main level) was beautiful!!! The house itself was just what my husband and I, plus our 3 children and their families needed for a great weekend for the Polar Express trip. The kids, ranging in ages 9 months to 8 years, had plenty of room on either level for games and playing. Such a short drive to downtown Bryson City. Would definitely recommend this place and would rent again!

Stayed Oct 24, 2025We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing mountain getaway. The views were absolutely stunning — especially at sunrise and sunset — and the porch was our favorite spot to unwind. The location was convenient to downtown Bryson City, yet peaceful and private. The host was friendly and responsive, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. We’d definitely stay here again!

Stayed Oct 2, 2025The house and property is beautiful. The views are what was explained in the description. The issue we had was with stink bugs and there being a very large amount. We were able to check in early, which was great, but panicked with the amount of stink bugs that managed to get into the house. We had a significant delay in response in relation to that that we had already been in contact with VRBO to see what our options were before we were able to get in touch with Kelsey. Unfortunately, that was over an hour. That was a little rough and caused more anxiety for our party because of the delay since VRBO already concluded we were warranted to stay in another place because of the amount. However, again the property is beautiful. Once we got Kelsey on the phone, she was able to work magic and her everything handled. We still had stink bugs getting through the doors but it was significantly less and more manageable than when we had originally walked in. So that was so appreciated. It would have been nice to have had that in the description however. If it is and I bypassed it, I apologize. Otherwise there was other minor things that would have helped make the stay a little better, but not much! House was quiet and again, views were spectacular.

Stayed Sep 18, 2025The property is wonderful and is in a great location with lots of room to host a large group. The beds are super comfortable… per all guests. We were able to see the sunrise from the back deck when the weather permitted. I appreciated we were able to bring our pups. There is not grass on the property so be prepared to walk them along the road. There is very minimal traffic so for the vast majority of times we didn’t encounter anyone else. However use caution of any wild life around. One of our guest came across a black bear about a 1/4 mile away from the house. On to the not so great. For three days/nights we had issue with the smoke alarms. The host was very responsive and we understand it was a unique situation but it was most annoying. The second issue was the bugs inside the main floor in the house. There were so many stink bugs, spiders, grasshoppers, and moths. One evening we decided to count them and stopped counting at 60 even after killing them all day. They were everywhere and I mean everywhere. We firmly believe it was because the seals were not tight on the front door or, in the case of the sliding screen in the kitchen, none at all. The host indicated that it was bug season in the mountains but I don’t believe that many bugs in the house is acceptable no matter what the season. That being said, I do recommend the property IF the seals on the front door and the sliding screen is fixed.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025The house has great views!! Very open floor plan with lots of rooms. I know restrictions on spraying for insects can be challenging in the mountains and we did find quite a few spiders in the house. Not sure if it was a lack of insect control or due to regulations. Overall we had a great stay and everyone enjoyed their time.

Stayed May 16, 2025This home is beautiful and truly does have everything that anyone could need to comfortably enjoy their stay in beautiful Bryson City. There were 5 of us ladies so we each got to have our own bedroom, even though one of us had to sleep in the “bunk room”. If I had one minor suggestion (not even a complaint because we knew about it going in) it’s that there was a single, more comfortable bed in the room, just in case an older adult “draws the short straw”) the lower bunks are very close to the upper bunks and the upper bunks were very difficult for someone 60 to climb up on. This was a very minor inconvenience and in no way detracted from our overall experience. It’s a fabulous house and BC is a beautiful area!

Stayed Aug 5, 2024A group of 9 of us stayed in this beautiful home for a week. We had 3 vehicles, 2 trailers and 5 motorcycles. We were able to park our larger trailer in the community trailer area. Which gave us room to keep everything else in the drive way. I will say the drive way is not paved which could be challenging for unexperienced cyclist. Besides that it was the perfect get away. Plenty of space for our large group. They give you starter stuff for toilet paper, laundry pods, and dishwasher pods, trash bags etc. If you plan to stay longer then the weekend id recommend stopping by the local dollar general down the road for extras. This is located right between Cherokee and Bryson city so not far from a bite to eat or shopping. Close by to the Blue ridge prkway where we go5 to see Elk during the evening hours. We loved staying here and would recommend for a bigger group or even just a family get away. The Host was very quick to respond to questions or needs that we had. Highly recommend this house!

Stayed Jul 14, 2024The house is beautiful, luxurious, private, and has a beautiful view! Self checkin was seamless. The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful! Beds were ALL quality and very comfortable, and the room darkening curtains perfection! Kitchen was well equipped and had a starter supply of K-cups though only a few dish towels. The deck furniture (4 chairs) is a little sparse for a large family of outdoor lovers, so bring some chairs if you like to hang out sipping on the deck. Not a criticism; just note that there is no grill, so plan accordingly if you like to cook and eat in. There are adequate beach towels for the hot tub, but the bath towels are unusually small and there were only three hand towels for 4 bathrooms. May have been an overbite. There was a starter supply of TP, hand soap, trash bags, and dish washer detergent, so plan a trip to Ingles if you are staying more than a few days. Ice maker was turned off when we arrived, but worked great when we turned it on. With the gorgeous wall of windows and sliding glass doors we wondered if the AC would keep up and it definitely did! If you bring your pets, know that there is no grass on the property, only gravel, but a walk up the driveway to the street leads to some potty areas. We had a wonderful time and would happily stay here again if we come to this area of NC!
