This property was amazing! Great views! Plenty of cookware to cook for large families.Very inviting and cozy! Plenty of room for large families. We loved that it was secluded. When it snowed the views were even prettier. Host was amazing! We will definitely stay here again! 5 stars from us!
We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with our friends and family. The house was perfect! Quiet location to relax and unwind. Great kitchen to prepare a meal for 15 people. Minutes to all the adventure activities you could want! We had such a great time!
Almost heaven
My family chose this location because it was close to really excellent whitewater rafting and hiking. First impression was that the house was slightly misrepresented with how many bedrooms/sleeping spaces there were, as one room was completely open so there was no privacy for one of the couples. Many of the beds were uncomfortable - we had to put one of the cot mattresses under the futon mattress so the people on that bed could be protected from feeling every single slat in the futon frame. I'd like to let the light sleepers know that if you are in the main floor master bedroom or in the loft, you will hear every sound in the house. The location is deep in the middle of nowhere down a very long single-lane road with lots of pretty nature trails and hiking nearby. The kitchen worked out very well for our group, with decent fridge space, cabinet space, and oven/stove usage. It was a very nice house overall. Some things could use some tlc (like the shower in the downstairs bedroom had a broken part.) The stairs to the second level were a bit tricky and dangerous, especially in the dark. 3 different people (ages 11, 41, and 70) fell down them at different times so we added a lamp at the bottom of the stairs so we wouldn't have to turn on the lights disturb anyone sleeping in the loft just to use the stairs. The 11-year old also slipped and fell in the upstairs shower, so I would advise to be extra careful with young kids or older people here. The hot tub and fire pit were nice to have available, and there was a good sized area outdoors to play some badminton. The owner responded with our needs for more gas for the grill when it was needed. Overall it was a good place to stay with our group of 12 humans and 3 dogs.
Excellent property secluded for privacy yet close to town and activities. Had a great time and would highly recommend
Everything was better than expected. Would definitely stay here again
My wife tripped on the steps when we first arrived. we came after sunset, thus I would propose installing lights to the stairwell. Apart from that incident, we had plenty of room for our group of seven. The cabin was warm and inviting, with a spectacular view of the woods from the living room window. Overall, the house was in decent condition and was clean.
Stayed here for a weekend getaway with 6 others and we had a great time. The house was beautiful with a lot of very nice features throughout. Very nice kitchen and bathrooms with good water pressure. Everything was very clean in the house and it was stocked up very well with linens and utensils and all of that. Everyone said the beds were comfortable. Outside was very nice as well. We had a very nice walk out to an overlook and also walked around down to the river which was also really cool. I would certainly recommend to others looking for a nice group getaway in the woods. Come with all food and drinks and don't even have to leave! Even though we didn't run into any issues during our stay, it seemed like communication with the host was very easy. Would come again.
If your seeking solitude this is your place. We truly enjoyed our family with just us- no neighbors. We had a surprise guide- an adorable little brown dog we named cinnamon! Obviously was owners pet- he went with us on our 2 1/2 hour hike and if we went down a trail we shouldn’t be going on he wouldn’t follow us, would sit there waiting until we came back, then took us the right way! Would recommend to others definitely but would suggest a sign at the very beginning of the property with each cabin name and an arrow. In the dark it’s tough to find. Thanks for our family experience, grandchildren loved the hot tub!
The property is beautiful. The house has everything you could possibly need. Our group of 12 each had a place to sleep. Living room sofa and beds very comfortable. Huge outdoor deck. And the endless walking trails were amazing.. we are thinking of returning for 10 days next July. Absolutely no complaints
