Luxury Lake Tahoe family hot tub gameroom

Gorgeous home! Perfect location. Easy access to Heavenly Village and state parks surrounding Lake Tahoe. However, the hot tub was locked and there was no outdoor seating other than 1 picnic table. Multiple beautiful expansive decks and spacious backyard, yet nowhere to sit except one picnic table on only 1 of the 4 decks and nothing in the yard. The listing states, “ A covered deck and outdoor seating set the stage for nighttime stargazing.” However, there was no outdoor seating. Overall though, beautiful and would stay here again!

The home was absolutely beautiful. We only had one issue, the people that stayed there before us didn't lock the bear trash container (understandable, it is hard to figure out)and needless to say one decided he would like to adventure. Trash was all over the yard, we had to pick it up. By the way he didn't like celery and carrots. LOL We would recommend this home and Luxevaca for your rentals. Lake Tahoe didn't disappoint.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the fantastic Hillside Haven in South Lake Tahoe, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the spacious layout of the home. The open-concept living area was perfect for our group, providing ample room to relax and enjoy each other's company. The large windows framed stunning views of the surrounding landscape, making every moment feel like a scene from a postcard. The house exuded charm, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we stepped inside. With two levels, it offered a wonderful separation for different groups and activities, yet we could have easily gathered everyone on one level if we chose to. The home was equipped with everything we could possibly need, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Convenience was another major highlight. The location of the house was absolutely ideal—just a short drive to the lake, ski resorts, trails, Stateline, and a variety of shops and restaurants. We loved being able to explore the area without the hassle of long commutes. Whether we wanted to hit the slopes, enjoy a day by the lake, or dine at a local eatery, everything was within easy reach. One of the standout features of this rental was the impressive high-speed internet. In today's world, staying connected is essential, and this property exceeded our expectations. Whether we were streaming movies, working remotely, or sharing our adventures on social media, the internet was consistently fast and reliable throughout our stay. Overall, this house provided the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and connectivity. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable getaway in this beautiful region! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time. The place was plenty big for our two families. The location was very quiet which was nice. Lot's of parking too. We didn't feel like we were missing anything. Two small recommendations: we didn't receive the hot tub code but when requested, received it immediately. Maybe post it inside somewhere. Also, the screen doors need better locks (or maybe just new screen doors). We weren't able to lock them at night so we had to close the sliders. The weather was so amazing it would have been nice to sleep with the doors open. Other than that, all was wonderful!

The house is in a great location, about 10 minutes from Heavenly and the downtown area. You can get to most of the other mountains in the area within an hour. The property manager was very responsive and was able to help us clear up a couple of issues very quickly.

There were a few significant issues that arose during our stay. The most significant was that the house thermostat was set to 50 Degrees! I took photos of this. It's on a timer and we couldn't override it. You have to set an alarm & wake up at the times it is set for to change it. 50 degrees is way too cold! It was completely unacceptable. To wake up in the middle of the night freezing because the heat has been turned off on you again and again is not acceptable. The worse part is when I brought this up to the manager they refused to acknowledge the problem. The washing machine did not work. We had a 5 month old staying with us and were in desperate need of the washing machine. Upon using it all of the babies blankets, clothes, and pajamas were soiled with water and soap and the machine stopped working and refused to complete the wash. When we went to cook dinner we were going to BBQ but the propane tank was empty. Then even with the new full propane tank the BBQ was not in working order. The flame would not go higher than low. The toaster was broken. The house is next to a junk yard. Just look out the windows to the right. Beware of this management company LuxeVaca. Before you rent from them look them up online there a ton of complaints! They have even been reported to the Better Business Bureau. Had I known I never would have rented a house from them. I requested to speak to a manager regarding my issues with our rental and they have ignored my requests. BEWARE!

The property was beautiful. Spacious and fun. One concern is there wasn't a broom or mop for us to use. The other concern was the chairs around the dining room table needed updated cushions as everyone just sunk into them, which made them uncomfortable. We improvised. The beds were super comfortable and having 4 bathrooms was amazing. We will definitely go there again!

Wow, this was the perfect place to gather family and friends. The home provided spaces for the children to enjoy outside time in the backyard and enjoy the game room. It allowed the adults in our party to enjoy multiple activities at once. We loved loved being able to cook bbq, watch Netflix and play carss

We all enjoyed the home very much. It was very comfortable for us with close proximity to Heavenly.

The house was good. I was a little annoyed at the number of cameras. What was extremely annoying was the wild number of automated texts and emails the LUXE management sent me. They tried to sell me an extended checkout and extra day. Also, the cleaning fee is quite high while simultaneously they demand that you clean the place up yourself.
