Luxury Home w/ AC, Theater Room, Pool & Sourround sound throughout the house

Hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I will admit I got a little nervous right before our stay because there was a bad review left. They reassured me that it was a false review and everything was in working order. The home ended up being amazing! Everything worked, fully stocked kitchen with everything you’d need for cooking at the house. Plenty of room for our group of 10. Also stocked with pool towels and beach accessories if needed. Very accommodating on our check out day as we had a late flight. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Horrible stay, when I contacted property manager Richard about the broken spa and cold pool, he asked what is wrong with driving to the ocean. 5 days later when I told him about the fridge leaking he said it doesn’t leak and that the non functioning tv works. I asked for a refund and if we could part ways and he demanded we leave at 8pm on thanksgiving eve, note we have 3 kids between 2 families and one pregnant woman in our party. Thanksgiving day, we attempted to cook our turkey but unsurprisingly, the bigger oven doesn’t work so we grilled the turkey, it was a disaster. The property highlights the pool and backyard area with the first 8 photos of the listing but was obviously not being properly maintained as by the time we had completed our stay the jacuzzi had completely drained leaving a white scum that wasn’t very appealing to look at. I’ve included a photo of the garage floor where ants were transporting maggots. Our group saw there was another issue with this homes a/c unit in August of 2024 and instead of fixing the problem, the property manager accused the guests of a variety of false accusations. This property is beyond incompetently run, that’s why I say RUN FROM THIS ONE!

We like this location have stayed in this area in the past. House worked for us. -needs a little updating and TLC Has lots of chairs and bikes. But they are getting kind of worn out as well as the outdoor metal Furnature. Understand sea air takes its toll on that A couple things broke down but we were able to fix and the gentlemen who helps maintain was very helpful and responsive. upon arrival owner purchased a new high chair and play pen which we unpackaged and put together. property does needs to be power washed and some of the windows need replacing. we managed just fine and would possibly stay here again if we go as a big group. Our family included 5 couples and the home was so great and so accommodating. We had a blast and the location was so perfect. The home was comfortable and the bedrooms were great. We would have enjoyed having all king beds but you can’t have everything. We would recommend this home to anyone.

This was a great place to stay. We loved Hanalei for shops, surfing and the awesome views. I would have rated this 5 stars for everything, but communications with the property manager Richard was disturbing. The home had signs of wear over the years and a bad smell under the kitchen sink. Richard was helpful at first and promised to provide a Christmas tree since we were staying over the holidays, the day before he said he couldn't due to liability reasons but said we could buy one ourselves (not sure what the liability issue is there). When we checked in it was obvious that the cleaning was not as expected. Ear plugs, layers of dust and socks under beds, carpet not vacuumed. Outside table had a thick layer of scum on it which we cleaned off to reveal a beautiful marbled table. The bed my wife and I slept in creaked and clearly needed repair. The toilet in the upstairs front bedroom didn't work (I fixed it) and the valves on the sink leaked. The toilet on the main floor quickly plugged and there was no plunger anywhere in the house. I fixed this after about an hour of work. The can opener was broken so we bought a new one and replaced it. The refrigerator in the garage had blood stains on the shelves and we never used it. When we mentioned these things, he offered to return our cleaning fee. When we checked out he told us he had to hire extra cleaners and that we broke two beds. We didn't see any broken beds. We’ve rented vacation homes on the east coast, on the west coast, the Caribbean and in Hawaii numerous times over the past 50 years with good results on average. Occasionally we’ve been disappointed; occasionally we’ve felt that we found a real prize. But on average, we’ve gotten what we expected in our rentals. Never, until this one, have we found issues that impacted our stay the way the following have. This is a nice home, I think, if properly managed and maintained. We (our extended family of adults) found it on VRBO and engaged it for a family reunion/vacation for 2 weeks ending 1 September 2024. While (at least) parts of the second floor were cooled by the A/C system, the lower level was quite warm. We had problems opening and closing windows in the first floor bedrooms. . (i.e. the windows would not open and close smoothly and easily.) A phone call to the local manager resulted in his visit to deal with this. And to advise us that “the A/C system has an issue and we are awaiting parts to be repaired.” So now we learned that the A/C system didn’t work properly and would NOT likely work properly through-out our stay on this tropical island. WOW! We never expected this revelation in a “Luxury” rental. There should have been some warning, and there should be some recompense. The manager told us it would be best not to open any windows. It was a beautiful property the house was big enough for our family of 12 but we were outside in the pool area it was so nice when we were there

Our experience on the island and at the property was amazing. We could not ask for anything more and truly enjoyed our time. Would definitely rent from Sue again! Property Mgr. Richard was amazing as well!!

We had a wonderful time! The pool and hot tub are great, very close to beaches and restaurants. House has a lot of amenities.

This is a great house for a large family. We stayed June 25-July 2, 2024. We had a total of 11 people. Plenty of room for all. Enough bathrooms for everyone. Plenty of space for meals together. Pool and spa was very nice and got used everyday. House is close to beaches on the north shore. Hanalei town, Princeville just down the street. Queensbath within walking distance. Hideaway beach close. We had an enjoyable time and have no problems recommending this house.

The house was beautiful! It was very well stocked with amenities and it was very clean! It was a very nice neighborhood and close to some beaches. I loved the pool because it wasn’t as deep as some, and since I don’t do well in the water it was more enjoyable. Perfect size for children whose kids are small or not strong swimmers! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this beautiful home!
