We can't say enough about the warmth of the home, and the incredible views we got to wake up to every morning!. The home is so well equipped, from the kitchen to the bedrooms, DVD movies, toys for kids, games, nice glassware, plenty of towels, etc. And when friends came to visit they were blown away by the the spectacular deck with cliffs below and incredible mountain views stretching across the valley! Thank you again for providing such an amazing home for us to enjoy the beautiful Durango area!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After renting 1831 Lake Purgatory Drive for two weeks last year, we enjoyed it so much we decided to booked it for a full month in 2024. What a wonderful vacation we had! First, the view from the deck, kitchen, den, and master bedroom is absolutely incredible! With three bedrooms and baths, it worked great for guests who joined us throughout the month. And the location is wonderful for cool temperatures, the best hikes in the area, trips to Purgatory ski resort, Ouray and Silverton, and pleasant walks through the beautiful neighborhood. The house is very well equipped throughout including quality pots/pans/supplies in the kitchen, a nice outdoor grill, cleaning supplies, extra blankets, etc. Finally, VRC did a great job of communicating with us and providing a really clean, well prepared vacation home. Given all this, it was really hard to leave, but we will be back!

Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, clean and very well stocked home. Everything you need. Great deck and hot tub. All appliances new. Only issues were lots of mosquitoes outside. Five star rating. You won’t be disappointed!

It was close to the ski slopes with plenty of room for our entire group. The hot tub was nice after a full day of skiing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The last morning we received a lot of snow. A company showed up and removed most of the snow from the driveway so we were able to get out easily. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

The home was an absolute pleasure to stay in to enjoy the cool temperatures and beautiful views of Colorado. Upon arrival we found the cabin very clean with nice furnishings, comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen. The owners even provided things we've never seen in a rental property such as bug spray, dog bowls and leashes, two-way radios, and even bear mace for hiking! But the most impressive thing about this property is the incredible view from the beautiful, large deck! Photos don't do the view justice. Sitting in the hot tub in the early evening with a cold beverage to enjoy the view is highly recommended! Also, hat's off to Vacation Rental Collective. The preparation of the cabin for our arrival was perfect, and their communication with us throughout the booking and our time at the cabin was top notch. Thank you! We will definitely be using your company again.
