Perfect home for a family getaway!

Nice property. It worked great for a family of five adults and one toddler.

Beautiful home. Family had a great time love that it was dog friendly.

We had difficulty in checking in to the rental. The code given to us did not work. We called the management company, and, after about 20 minutes, we were in the vacation rental. The rental house was clean and provided plenty of room for our family of eight. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The outside space of the property was very nice.The primary negative of the property was that it did not have air conditioning. Though we knew this prior to arriving, we were told that one could open the windows and use fans to cool the house. This did not work during the late July / early August time. Daytime temperatures while we were there were in the mid 80's. When we arrived, the house was closed up and no fans were going. The house was extremely hot at the time of arrival. We followed advice given to us by opening the windows and running the fans, but this did not help very much during the afternoons. The windows stayed open at night, and along with the fans, the house cooled down over night with outside temps in the upper 50's. We followed the advice given to us by closing the windows after waking up so as to trap cool air in the house. On the warms days, however, the afternoon conditions in the house were significantly uncomfortable. In retrospect, I don't think I would stay here again during the summer. I'm sure the spring and fall would be fine. Another downside to opening the windows was that a bedroom was located adjacent to a septic system. Produced odor at night.

Beautiful home. Very clean. Great spaces both indoor and outdoor. Lovely gardens. Great views.

Was well appointed and had modern kitchen with multiple rooms to hang out in. Would definitely stay there again! Drawbacks was there was no fireplace and sitting room on porch was not heated....otherwise a great spot and we enjoyed it!

3 genreations came to spend a little post holiday time. House was great. Well stocked. Only thing missing was sand for the shuffleboard table- no one from the rental group brought any so we went and bought some ourselves. only big hick up. Great views I am sure this place is gorgeous in the summer.

The house has everything you need and, because it is set apart from the main road, is incredibly peaceful. There are so many great spots to sit outside and enjoy beautiful Durango without leaving the property. But when you want to go see the town, it is just a quick drive. You could not find a better way to enjoy Durango, CO!

So many places to sit and relax, that it is difficult to enjoy it all! It is just on the outskirts of town, easy to drive back and forth to town. The only drawback would be the steep switchback road to the house. But the drive up is 100% worth it to this beautiful home. We enjoyed this stay for work and pleasure.

The house was great too. The pictures do not do it justice. The rental was stocked with many essentials, which was appreciated. There were lots of different areas to explore. Various outdoor decks, and other gathering places. That created a sense of variety. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone.

Came here to escape the Arizona heat with adult kids, had an absolutely amazing time here. If you can't relax in this amazing home then you should probably seek medical attention. Only problem is that I should've stayed longer!
