Luxury detached Edwardian house in Whitby, North Yorkshire. Six bedroom house sleeps up to 14 guests with ample private parking off-street for multiple cars. Well behaved dogs are welcome. The house is in a secluded location only ten minutes walk to Whitby town centre through or around the beautiful Pannett Park. Close to the famous Cinder Track coastal walking and cycling route. The house offers beautiful scenic views and easy access to the coast and North York Moors National Park.

Coronavirus (Covid-19)
We aim to give you a great experience whilst following current health guidelines set by government and the hospitality sector. Housekeeping crew are now following new procedure to minimise coronavirus risks to guests and themselves and to play their part in stopping the spread. We kindly ask guests to support our efforts. Many of these practices are new and if we get things wrong or you are unhappy with anything please tell us and we will do our best to put things right.
How this will affect you
Bed linens and towels
We kindly ask guests to strip beds and put used linen and towels into bags before departure. Housekeeping will leave bags in the bedrooms prior to your check-in. Why Bed linen and towels have been identified as a high risk vector for virus transmission. Used laundry will remain in bags for three days before being handled to reduce the risk to our housekeepers and the staff working at our linen supplier.
High-risk items
Some high-risk items have been removed such as cushions and throws from the bedrooms as well as books and some games and toys, meaning the house will be presented slightly differently to normal.
Times for check-in and check-out
Check-in time is now from 18:00, but in many cases we will be able to offer check-in from 15:00. Check-out time is now before 10:00 but in many cases we will be able to offer check-out until 11:00. Parking will remain available from 15:00 on day of arrival regardless of check-in time. We always aim to deliver preferable times to you when this is possible. Why Housekeeping crew need to allow time to ventilate the house and complete sanitising tasks between guest departures and arrivals.
Excellent communication with the host throughout & a gorgeous property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very good location for Whitby sight seeing.
The house is huge and in a great location for walking access into town, just under half a mile away. The kitchen is fantastic and found ourselves congregating there mostly. I had frequent contact with the owner and he always responded quickly. The whole family had a great weekend for my mother in laws 80th birthday and were that impressed they want to do the same later in the year.
This lovely property was perfect for 3 families to come together and enjoy a couple of days together - 10 mins walk max into Whitby which worked out well for us
The property is perfect for a large group. We had a fabulous weekend and just 20 mins walk into Whitby.
All our group were very pleased with the accommodation and location for the two night stay. Rooms and showers were excellent, cooking facilities were plentiful and top quality. Just a short walk away from the town As nenhh the ironed previously the house is at the top of quite a steep drive but was no problem for our group All in all we were more than happy and would definitely return in the future

Very good break for all the family
Very nice and clean outdoor area could do with a bit of a spruce up also the bannister was loose on the balcony which is dangerous. All the rest are f the house was lovely and extremely clean and comfortable
We had the most glorious time . The house is fabulous . All the amenities are first class . It is spotless and has such a welcoming feeling . There is also so much parking , a real gem in Whitby . Above all else the owner Richard and Debra were amazing . Debra was so so helpful . We will definitely be back .
Great communication with the host, house was perfect, very clean and well equipped. . Bedrooms were lovely. Outside driveway and garden definitely needs some work but didn’t spoil our break. Maybe also some more info in the property on rubbish collection, local area etc
