Luxury Cottage - City Center - Large Garden with Hot Tub -7 Bedrooms-4 Bathrooms

This place checked all the boxes and didn’t disappoint. Communication with the host was excellent as well.

Took time to figure out where the property was as there is not a picture of the front and the numbers are hard to see. The neighborhood and entry make you think is this really where the property is? We got in later than expected but we were able to find the property and the key was taped in the mailbox slot. There was some nice dining options down the street. When we got in the common area space was nice for people to sit down and socialize. The beds were not very comfortable nor were the pillows. There is a need for property improvements. I can say that the pictures made the property look outstanding but in reality it was a very good photographer. Has trying to impress clients on a rewards trip this property was a mess for that.

Terrific set up and superb location. Home has everything you need. Walkable to the heart of Galway. The house was very spacious with a great common area for lounging and dining. Backyard has the hot tub. It was a great way to end the night. This place is perfect for big groups looking to stay close to the action in Galway. Great communication from the staff as well to let us into the place. We really had a phenomenal stay.

A great place for our extended family reunion. Great location for all - close enough to the square but far enough away from the noise. Thank you!

A well-situated location and a great venue for a larger group. We had four couples and it was quite comfortable, although not much space in bedrooms for clothes if you are travelling for a longer period. More than 8 fine for a night or two, but probably not as suitable for more than that over a longer stay. Check-in and check-out simple, with Lisa meeting us on site for our arrival. We’d all stay again.

Great house and location! Outside yard is fantastic. We had rain so only used it one night. Could not be in a better place. Close to everything with shops, coffee shops, and pubs on the street. We were a large group and the upstairs bath serviced the two front beds + the upstairs. That was a little awkward. Only complaint. Inside is furnished well and easily accommodated our large group. Would definitely stay again.

This house has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large family. Lovely yard and hot tub to relax at the end of the day. Property is situated within walking distance of everything. We could walk to town, restaurants and the beach.

Upon arrival we were surprised to find that this is a row house, not the “Luxury Cottage” we were expecting. We were also surprised to find that there was no parking for the VRBO, since parking is listed on the property’s page. There is parking on the street in front of the house for $2/hour with a maximum of 2 hours that you can pay at a time. This was a huge pain and an extra cost. There is a lot about a 10 minute walk away that charged $5/day. It is also about a 15 minute walk from the center of town, but we felt safe walking back and forth. The interior is much more spacious than we expected. We were able to fit all 14 members of our group comfortably. The beds were comfortable and came with enough pillows and blankets. The backyard was not kept up very well. The cushions in the pictures were not out, and the false grass and yard could use some maintenance. The hot tub was wonderful once we aired it out. Inside was mostly tidy, although the floors were dirty and we ended up cleaning some sticky surfaces. The person I spoke with through the VRBO listing checked in right away and apologized for this. She also offered to send her cleaners back out, but we had already cleaned it up. Brendan met us at check-in and was amazing! I was disappointed that the furniture is not as pictured (particularly living room/dining room) because we had planned on having a small reception after my sister’s wedding in the house (only with the people staying). The table had been replaced with one that was much smaller and I was worried about seating. Brendan was able to get a table and chairs for us to use and even came and set them up while we were at the wedding. This was SO appreciated! Brendan also checked in to make sure everything was okay. So, overall it was a good fit for our family and we really enjoyed our stay. I would not call this a luxury property or price it as such, but it was definitely a cute place that works well for large groups. Thanks!
