Luxury Coastal Home, Gulfport Waterfront District

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Beautiful house in a great location! We were able to walk for breakfast & dinners. Very quiet and low key, however we were there in mid January. Gulfport is great!

We use VRBO often and rely on customer feedback to determine our stay. The reviews of this home were very favorable but upon entering the home I saw many discrepancies from the photos on the website. We reported all of the issues to our host Kristin. This list included:Microwave noise (fan going out)Dishwasher bars detached Bike tire flat(bike finally fixed on our last day)Need to wash towels(beach) but only 1 pod available Balcony furniture broken and debris everywhere/mud Balcony awning not workable zip tied Ants in kitchen cabinets Large dead cockroach Second bedroom, bathroom sink the drain was dripping all towels underneath were soaking wetShower off the kitchen clogged, did not drain well. I reported these things to our host in hope that all items would be fixed prior to the next renters arrival. I was told that I did not request anything to be fixed except the bike and then told the bike was not part of the maintenance for this property. Each day another issue came up and I continued to report them as they became apparent. Also, being behind the restaurant O’ Maddy‘s, the garbage trucks, delivery trucks, and constant noise was very loud throughout our evenings and early mornings. It was nice to be in walking distance to the Main Street but people need to be aware of the noise as well. The bedroom with the twin bed and trundle was not comfortable. Two twins put together to make a king with no mattress topper to fill the gap between the two twin beds.

We (party of 6 adults) stayed in this lovely house for 4 nights while attending a wedding in Gulfport. The house was very comfortable and so convenient to everything. Even though it sits across the street from a very busy restaurant with live music, everything seems to shut down by 11 p.m. and nights were very quiet. We loved the kayaks that were provided! Communication was very easy and the house is outfitted with absolutely everything. Our only suggestion is to put dark or blackout curtains in the bedrooms, as the street lights kept the room from getting dark. We would definitely want to stay here again.

The house was beautifully decorated, the location was great. There’s restaurants and bars within walking distance. We walked over to the pier to enjoy the sunset. In the mornings we had coffee and had the best view of the water. The house has and elevator which was very convenient for the grandparents and bringing up groceries. We really enjoyed our stay!

House was nicely decorated and clean, except we had ants invade all our pantry food. Key pad was hard to operate on check in (keys stuck in and code confusing because 2 numbers for each pad—do you hit once or twice?). Big disappointments were view (blocked by new and ongoing 2d story construction and dominated by back of busy restaurant), and broken awning (preventing day use of primary deck). Also, no beach chairs and umbrella provided, as listing promised. Agent never apologized, much less offered discount. House has good potential but needs better disclosure and management. Book explaining wifi and light operation hard to use because details not explained until add on page in back. Lots of frustrations and disappointments on this stay, but it was pet friendly and the little town is charming and recovering from storm damage.

This was a really neat property in an area that is probably usually pretty cool, but was still recovering from the hurricanes when we were there in May 2025. Hopefully it will be back better than ever! The house and views were gorgeous. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to spend there and enjoy it, as we were in town for a family wedding, and were basically only at the house long enough to sleep 2 nights. It was definitely a perfect place for 8 of us to all get ready for our events at the same time though!

Property was excellent. Great location and lots of room. Both property manager and owner very responsive to all our requests. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again

We had come for our Son’s graduation from the St Petersburg Police Department. The house was perfect to celebrate with family. Very beautiful home with excellent views. Couldn’t ask for a better way to spend time with family
