Luxury Chateau With Soaring Views Over Lake Lanier

We had a great time here. The place is spacious and well-maintained. The view is beautiful, the outdoor area is beautiful, and the house is just stunning. The whole property was behind private gates, so we could walk around and enjoy the pool and hot tub without worry. Will definitely keep this on the list of places I'd come back to and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful week at this amazing property, but we did have some issues with the cleanliness of the property.The VRBO listing also lists the lower level bedroom as suitable for the elderly, but this home is definitely not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. The sloping path to the lower level is stepping stones leading to a grass path, so would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

20 of us-ages 96 to 9 stayed here in July. All in all, it worked. The property manager was nice. The home is large. The kitchen is stocked. But there are many reasons why we wouldn’t stay again.-The house is beautiful but dated. Wallpaper pealing, carpets stained, cobwebs everywhere. The furniture is old, stained, and sagging. -landscaping by the pool was dead. Eyesore. The hot tub was supposed to spill over into what we think is supposed to be a cute water feature, instead we named it the swamp bc you couldn’t see past the top layer of muck. -there’s no shade near the pool. No trees, no umbrellas, nothing. We went and bought some umbrellas to sit under. Of the four lounge chairs, two were broken. -the hot tub didn’t work. The remote would say that it will turn on after a delay. The delay must be six days bc the day before we left we noticed it was on.-The upstairs patio railing is extremely loose and scary. We made the kids stay off of that balcony.-There are not enough towels for 30 people. There were barely enough for 20 of us to shower with. There are no bath mats or rugs either. There were definitely none to use for the pool. -the last day we were there, the water was turned off. By the time it was turned back on, half of us had to leave for the airport and were unable to shower, brush teeth,etc. The house needs a good cleaning and some maintenance. We really wouldn’t recommend this house until that occurs.

Nice house but not very clean. we checked in at 6:30 pm Master bed wasn’t made and there wasn’t in linen to be found and the room wasn’t clean. It’s a very big house but needs a thorough cleaning

Let me start off by saying we loved the place. There were 33 of us and it was very accommodating. We had everything we needed.The place is very close to Walmart, Publix, Sam’s, and Costco. Just a few notes…the property needs to be kept up. There are lots of dead landscaping around the pool, the deck around the pool is flagstone and it is in need of a good pressure washing. The house itself just needs to be cleaned and the carpeting throughout needs a steam clean. The floors and carpets were filthy. Some things I would suggest while staying there is bring more washcloths…we ran out but we had 33 people. We did use the laundry daily. I give the place 4 stars because we absolutely fell in love with it. Just needs a thorough cleaning and some fresh landscaping added. We will come back if we come to this area. The view is incredible.

Very large house for a big family. Pool was great. Spa was great. Large kitchen and large pizza oven.

we stayed 25 days and we have nothing to complain about. its a perfect spot for anybody.

This property is amazing and the views are incredible! the house is perfect for large groups/families.This is the second time we have stayed there and would look to stay there a third time if we come back to GA to play our spring break tennis matches.

We came across this gem while looking for a place to host a family reunion. This house is one of a kind with so much space both inside and outside and amazing views of the lake. This upscale house makes you feel like you are on retreat in Tuscany or South of France. We had a fantastic time. Thank you Victor for accommodating our needs. We are looking forward to coming back!

The house is huge and fun. 3 game rooms. Great space for 20 people to gather and relax. We did see a few Palmetto bugs during our stay. We would do it again.

Property photos looked amazing and had everything a large family get-together needed. Pool was nice with limited seating with four lounge chairs and one table and chairs for a large group of 20+. Carpets were dirty/stained, palmetto bugs found continually throughout the house. Fire ants all around house/walkways and bees nest in front entry. Wallpaper peeling off, sauna tubs with mold. House needs a refresh. All information was shared with owner.

Great property. Hoat was quick to reply to any questions and our stay was amazing.

We love the property and location. We enjoyed interacting with the host. Our only frustrations were related to the cleanliness of the kitchen and appliances. The outdoor furniture was also in need of updating or repairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to visiting again soon.

Amazing house. A bit dilapidated but nothing to make us not want to rebook for next year. Had some group members complain about the worn out mattresses when we arrived, I told Victor and he showed up the same day and with 2 new mattresses. That is great service! Pool is fantastic but the surface can rough up your feet, highly recommend water shoes. Will be back!

30 family members had a wonderful time and plenty of space. The pool, hot tub and other outside spaces were well used. The house was more than spacious enough. Could use some updating but was clean. Would suggest having more cold storage. A full size refrigerator/freezer would be great downstairs and maybe a mini fridge in the bunk room kitchen.
