Stayed Dec 6, 2025The communication with the owner was fabulous!!!! The house itself is super nice - the kitchen and dining area are spacious and plenty of seating in main living room!The house needs a fresh coat of paint throughout - lots of nicks on the wall corners, the walls up and downstairs, along with nail holes and both upstairs bathrooms need repairs in drywall by shower and ceiling in master and needs a towel rack rehung by shower.The owner sent a handyman to look at bathrooms and replace the hallway burnt out light. We would definitely stay here again - just needs a painting refresh.

Stayed Oct 3, 2025We had a great trip! The house was clean and spacious, and I love that there are larger beds in the bedrooms rather than most rentals that have twins in the at least one. There were several amenities that are always appreciated like laundry baskets and large extra fans you can plug in for the bedrooms. There was also 2 beach wagons with 5-6 beach chairs. The neighborhood is in a perfect location-it’s quiet but has quick access to restaurants and shopping.

Stayed Sep 29, 2025This house is ideal in its location to the beach, restaurants and shops. The pool is just steps away and private beach access is only about a 5 minute walk! Also, there are several great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walking distance as well and all are highly recommended! We are at Kenny D’s and can vouch that it’s as good as advertised! This was the perfect beach vacation!

Stayed Sep 6, 2025Upon arrival we were quite pleased with how clean the entire property was. Before arriving, we had inquired about whether or not there were any fans because we use them to sleep. Martin had 2 brand new fans waiting for us! The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed and more. Can't say enough about how nice it was. Only 2 recommendations. The couch is starting droop in the middle making it a little uncomfortable. Master bedroom could use some darkening curtains. In the mornings it was quite bright. If not feeling well or wanting to nap it would be nice to have a dark room. Helps those folks who have a history of migraines too. Highly recommend this property!!

Stayed Oct 5, 2024The house was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Had all the amenities we needed for cooking at the house. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 kids. The pool is just steps away and so convenient. The walk to the beach access is easy, mostly walking on sidewalk through the neighborhood and then through a parking lot so don’t have to worry about busy streets. Kenny D’s is walking distance for some good food. Plenty of things to see and do on Gulf Drive (shopping, ice cream, coffee shop, restaurants) as well as easy access to other shopping and grocery, etc. on the main highway. Would 100% stay here again!

Stayed Sep 18, 2024Easy and quick check in. Received all door/gate codes as described and was able to enter the Emerald Shores community and the property with no hassle. Property was just as depicted in the photos. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their vacation without feeling cramped or over shadowed. Upstairs sitting room and outdoor balcony area very comfortable and relaxing with a nice view. Bedrooms and bathrooms spacious, no waiting on the bathroom to become available. Downstairs bathroom with shower was nice to have. Community pool conveniently located in front of property and was nice to have. Beach Pavillion was a hit. Short walk from property, maybe 5 to 7 minutes at most, and easy to get to and access. Staffing with La Dolce Vita for beach gear rentals were excellent. Very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable of the area.The drink concession at pavillion was perfect for those hot days during our stay. Would happily recommend to others and would be happy to stay here there again.

Stayed Aug 24, 2024We travel to Miramar every year and have stayed at emerald shores before, but this house beat the first forsure! It was updated, super clean and even though we were at the beach it was homey. Short walk to the beach and directly next to the pool which was very nice for our littles we had with us! If i had a question Martin was quick to answer and went above and beyond for us! We will definitely try to book this on our next trip down!!! :-) you won’t regret it!

Stayed Jul 29, 2024We absolutely loved this house and neighborhood. The walk to the beach was super easy plus they have a shuttle if you are feeling a little sluggish from the Florida Heat! The linens were definitely a favorite of mine and the house was an awesome size for the six of us. The girls could hang out in the second floor living room if they did not want to be with the adults. This house is right next to the pool so I don't think there is a better location in the neighborhood!

Stayed Jun 16, 2024This was a beautiful beach house, It was decorated beautifully. In a perfect location. A short walk to the beach, Close to Kenny D’s, bar and grill. The entrance to our beach access had bathrooms, outside showers and a bar. Our family has been to Destin many times. And my kids voted this their favorite place to stay. We had a question for the property owner on our first day so I sent him a message and he immediately called us back and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this home.
