Luxury Barn on Historic Ranch

The stay was perfect for 5 adults and 1 child. We had plenty room for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and views from the balconies. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Beautiful land and horses. The location to downtown Durango was perfect. We had privacy yet access to town for groceries and restaurants. There was a nice casino nearby as well in Ignacio, it was an easy drive from the stay. There wasn’t snow in Durango so we were able to drive to Wolf Creek and visit the hot springs in Pagossa easily (1.5-2 hr drive).

It was a Beautiful property and the Apartment was nice and cozy. The location was convenient to everywhere in Durango withing about a 20 minute drive. The owner was also very good at checking in to make sure our stay was pleasant.

Gorgeous property, impeccable accomodations, and a gracious host in Durango. What more could you want. We lived our stay.

Loved this place for our sisters weekend! The property was beautiful secluded & peaceful, but a quick drive to anything we needed / wanted to do! The fully stocked kitchen was a pleasant surprise as we all love to cook! We’ll definitely be back!

Comfortable with luxury decor and furnishings. Extra touches by host were very thoughtful. Views of ranch were great. Deer and turkey wanderingabout were fun to watch. This is our best VRBO experience ever! Would love to stay again!

My family and I loved the ranch home. Our stay was one of the best vacations we have ever experienced and the ranch home was a huge part of it. We even had surprise visitors in the morning (see photos). We will stay there again without question when we visit our friends in Durango again.

The home is gorgeous with beautiful finishes. We absolutely loved the details. It was well-appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen. The children were thrilled with the setting above a barn and loved petting Paco the horse who was in a nearby stall. My personal favorite was sitting by the creek each evening. This property is a paradise. We hope to return.

The photos didn’t do justice for this place. Every detail was thought out and the barn is absolutely beautiful. The ranch is beautiful and the cold plunge in the stream was my favorite part about this this place. We went for a girls trip, and none of us wanted to leave. Everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful experience.

My husband, my best friend and I traveled to Durango from Englewood to partake in the blues train. Last year when my husband and I went, we stayed at a hotel. but this year I booked this wonderful beautiful quiet apartment above the horse barn. The property is breathtaking! The accommodations were amazing rich dark woods western theme of course. The beds were great! The barbecue grill needed propane and Steve, the ranch hand obliged us right away. I can’t say enough good things about this property and our stay in Durango.
