Stayed Mar 5, 2023Took our entire family for a ski trip that we will start doing annually. The property was perfect and located a short walk to the slopes. Very convenient to everything. The house has everything you could want.

Stayed Feb 17, 2023This house photographed beautifully in VRBO listing, however the house needs quite a bit of updating and maintenance. Generally it seems like this was a beautiful house 25 years ago, but the owners have not put money into maintaining it. I can understand that maintaining a house in a ski area is expensive, but we paid an awful lot of money to rent this. I wouldn’t rent it again. 1. The window frames throughout the house are damaged or decayed. One of the windows we opened required us to go outside to close it again as the window separated from the frame. Window screens were noticeably bent or broken. 2. House advertised as having a three car garage, however, two of the garages were full of the owner’s gear and vehicle, so only one of our cars could park there. 3. The faucet to the sink in the main island of the kitchen was completely broken and wobbled when touched – it was not even attached at the base. That sink also did not drain when our kids poured water into it. This seems like an easy fix for a plumber to repair, but that hadn’t been done before our very expensive rental week. 4. Hot tub did work but the 20+ year old decaying cover did not inspire a lot of desire to get into the tub, and required a leap of faith to even want to remove the cover. Once you got in, the jets and waterfall worked sporadically. We couldn’t get the jets to turn off, or the waterfall to turn on. The hot tub maintenance guy showed up while we were there, and even he commented that the equipment was really dated. He said something like he maintains a lot of hot tubs, and you just don’t equipment that old anymore. 5. Steam shower in hot tub room had a sign that said “temporarily not working”. However, the wear on the sign seemed to indicate that this was way past temporary. 6. Back in the kitchen, the left hand dishwasher completely fell out of its housing if both drawers were opened simultaneously for loading. One whole set of burners in the range would not turn on unless ignited with a lighter. 7. Only one spatula in the entire kitchen and it was cracked. All of the pots and pans were very aged and in worn condition. There was one sauce pan in a massive kitchen. 8. The dryer door would not stay closed unless you pushed it in only at the bottom. Kind of a problem when trying to dry a lot of ski clothing. 9. Two of the hair dryers in the house didn’t work at all, even after reset button. + more

Stayed Mar 4, 2022The home was filthy upon check in. There were crumbs everywhere. There were unmade beds, dirty toilets, sticky door handles and coffee beans spilled all over the cabinet. The home is worn and dated. The carpets were stained throughout. There were broken lamps. It needs a massive deep clean. This was especially upsetting during Covid times. We ended up leaving the home and finding another place. House is misrepresented in photos.

Stayed Jan 27, 2022The cabin was beautiful and in a gorgeous neighborhood. Our group's biggest issue was that (1) The cabin was listed to sleep 16 originally and we had 15 guests. Come to find out, it was listed incorrectly AND they expected two guests to fit in each twin bed, which doesn't work when it's adults. We ended up needing an inflatable mattress + converting the game room into a bedroom, which meant we couldn't utilize it as it's meant. (2) The concierge is incredibly useless. Their site claimed to help with booking reservations/accommodations but when I contacted them with the date/time/# of guests and restaurant preferences, they told me to contact them myself. I wish they helped a little as they claimed, it would have been appreciated. Additionally when we realized the occupancy issue, the concierge offered a inflatable queen mattress. When we arrived, we had a twin mattress and queen sheets. We decided to just use the pull out couch and use the sheets for that, but I still needed twin sheets. I called the next day and requested the sheets as well as firewood for the fireplaces (none of the fireplaces were stocked). I was told we would receive the sheets by the end of the day, but the firewood would be delivered the next day (totally fine). By the end of the trip, we never received either. Again, gorgeous cabin and neighborhood. It’s about 10 min away from main street Park City, so close enough where it’s easy access but just secluded enough to have a peaceful experience at home. I’d still recommend the cabin itself, just don’t expect support from the property management company and make sure it can accommodate all your guests!

Stayed Jan 3, 2021We absolutely loved the property. There were 9 of us together. The house was beautifully decorated. It was large enough that we all had our own space. The gourmet kitchen was wonderful to cook in. I would highly recommend this property for large groups. The house was in a great location and only 5 minutes from the Mountain. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 28, 2020Listen I don't write reviews. When you call a house a mansion it better be a mansion. this is NO mansion. Its a bigger log cabin. 1. Do not go here in the summer. No AC, No ceiling fans. Miserable 2. In a house you claim to be a mansion it should at the very least have mansion amenities. Simple things like quality beds. Not 15 year old spring pieces of crap. 3. The furniture was old and when you sat in it, it felt disgusting. 4. They decided the right time to do roof work on the house was two of the days we were there banging on the roof throwing crap off the roof and having 6-7 non-english speaking workers all over the property looking at the women in the house. It was deplorable. Emailed the property manager/owner of the property to let them know what was going on. Gave them ample opportunity to attempt to make things right. With zero response. Overall we were very disappointed in this property. I will give the positives. The location was ideal. The kitchen was fully stocked, and access to the property was exceptional. But definitely will not be coming back to this house.

Stayed Jul 2, 2020We had such a great experience at this property. We came in July and brought with us our 5 children and a friend(ages 9-20). Additionally, we had one set of grandparents stay with us. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. On the main floor are 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms plus a half bath in the hall. There were beds for everyone and plenty of hot water when they all took showers. The upper floor is a gorgeous owner’s suite with not one — BUT 2 full bathrooms, an exercise room and an office (that also has beds for 4). We had the girls stay up in the office and they used one of the bathrooms and we used the other. The real beauty in the home is the kitchen / dining / great room area. We cooked together and found all the dishes you could ever need. We were fortunate to have a couple cousin families who made the drive from Salt Lake City join us for dinner and we had plenty of room to eat both inside and outside on the patio. We especially loved the beautiful wooden cutting boards and if I could post photos would show the amazing charcuterie boards that we served. We enjoyed our time outside in the yard. We played corn hole and washers, hung hammocks, spread out blankets and enjoyed the park city cool summer afternoons. We rode the sterling express (the ski lift you can walk to) downhill and enjoyed the view. It is free to ride downhill and then we would go pick up the kids at the bottom. The game / media room downstairs was wonderful. Ping pong, pool and chess are available as well as an extra pull out bed and one more FULL bathroom. One night a few cousins decided to stay and we had those accommodations for them. The hot tub was lovely and the laundry facilities were great. The whole time we were there we talked about how amazing this property would be during ski season. To come into the heated garage, use the boot dryers, hop in the steam room or hot tub, get showered, put on a robe and enjoy warm chili upstairs. We will definitely be back. Summer in deer valley is breathtaking. We saw a cow moose and her newborn, several woodchucks, rabbits and more! The windows in the house were filled with inspiring breathtaking views. Don’t pass this one up.
