Stayed Sep 19, 2025Recently had a wedding at this location! I paid extra money to have an event at this place and was very disappointed to see that the yard was not cut. The host was aware that there was going to be a wedding ceremony outside and when asked about the yard was only concerned about playing loud music. Apart from that the property is very beautiful and after having to cut the yard myself the turnout was very nice… The rooms could use new mattresses due to the beds being really uncomfortable. Check in and check out was smooth with no problems. There property did still have items left from previous renters but overall very beautiful property just make sure with host if your having an outdoor event to make sure the yard is cut it pushed my whole wedding off track…

Stayed Jul 10, 2025The property was absolutely stunning. The house was quaint and charming. The layout was perfect for our event. However, an older home such as this one does come with some challenges. There were multiple rooms with no outlets at all. We just worked around that. There were a lot of bugs but that’s just Texas. It probably could have been cleaned a bit better and maybe remove the hanging hooks off the walls, but it was not something that was a big issue. Everything in that home was so beautiful that it made up for any minor issues. I would highly recommend staying at this property. Your soul will thank you.

Stayed May 23, 2025My family and I were really blessed to find this listing, as our original VRBO host cancelled while we were en route to our vacation. With that being said, there were a couple of issues, such as the front of the house had no hot water, and the beds were very hard. I even purchased a mattress topper. While those were my main issues, it was very peaceful. The host even allowed us to have our extended family over for a gathering, and the teenagers love staying in the guest house away from the adults.
