We recently added a new HotSprings hot tub outside on the back deck which is very relaxing and a great spot to take in the beautiful view.
The brand new kitchen contains stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped so you can prepare delicious homemade meals. All new stove, microwave, dishwasher, farmhouse stainless steel sink and quartz countertops. When it’s time to dine, the dining area seats 12, there is a spacious kitchen table and breakfast bar. The forest-view deck provides a gas grill, outdoor table with umbrella and 6 cushioned chairs to relax and enjoy the outdoors in.
For local food and fun, the weekly Truckee Thursdays in historic downtown Truckee are starting back up on June 22nd and will run through August 10th. These weekly events are a lot of fun to savor the locally sourced food, live music, beer garden & kids activities.

Bedroom Layout:
This two-story home sleeps 12 adults + kids (under the age of 13) between five rooms which includes 2 master bedrooms:
1. Master bedroom is upstairs and offers a king-size bed, flat-screen TV with streaming options. There is a large walk in closet , spacious bathroom with a tub/shower combo along with a vanity with two sinks
2. The Second master bedroom is located downstairs and also has a king-size bed, gas fireplace, two desks for WFH and flat-screen TV with streaming options. The downstairs master bathroom has been completely renovated with heated tile flooring, a standalone bathtub and separate large walk in shower.
3. Bedroom 3 has a King-size bed.
4. Bedroom 4 has a Bunk bed with Trundle bed (2 full mattresses on the bunk bed and 1 twin on the trundle pull out).
5. Room off of the mudroom has a Trundle bed (with 2 twin mattresses) and a flat-screen TV with streaming options.
3 full bathrooms available including one bathroom with heated floors (en-suite master bedroom downstairs).
Extra perks include fast Wi-Fi and washer/dryer. We also recently added a EV charging outlet for your electric vehicle! Since there are many different types of adapters/charging cords we have an outlet ready for you to plug into, please bring your adapter/charging cord, we included a picture of what that outlet looks like in the picture gallery.
Parking is available in the garage and driveway. In winter, an all-wheel-drive vehicle may be necessary.

The local HOA has additional amenities that guests can use at an additional cost you can read about these on the Tahoe Donner website, if you search that name online that will pop up and you can then click on amenities to see all the different options. This includes the Donner Lake Tahoe Donner HOA Beach which is on the east side of Donner Lake.

The garage has 2 garage doors and a car can fit in each side. There is a long driveway where you can fit 4 cars.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible:
-Please respect check-in and checkout times.
-Primary renter must be over the age of 25.
-Host will request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in and responsible booking guest will need to e-sign a short term rental agreement prior to check in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
You must also acknowledge
- Amenity limitations — The radiant heaters (controlled from remote thermostats) take a while to warm up, however we have two fireplaces and 5 additional space heaters.
- Must climb stairs — 2-story home. 2 flights of stairs to get to the front door. Stairs inside home.
- Security camera/recording device — Our properties may have outdoor security cameras aimed on the exterior of the home, doorbell camera and/or an alarm system for the safety of the house and its occupants. Non-recording audio monitoring devices (NoiseAware) might be installed onsite to warn us of excessive noise and avoid complaints.
- May encounter potentially dangerous animals — Wildlife can be seen.
-Guests do not have access to the loft in the upstairs master bedroom for safety concerns.
