Other things to note
Enjoy your stay
Property was very clean and quiet even though it overlooked a county maintenance yard. Spacious rooms and the beds were comfortable. Only had streaming TV service so was not able to view normal channels. Overall a pleasant place to stay.
The house was very clean and we liked the design, e.g. doors to close off the laundry room to keep things quiet and the two large bedrooms downstairs were ideal for my husband and I, as well as the grandparents. Our kids really enjoyed the game room and played for hours upon hours in the yard and on the little hills parallel to the house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, etc. We were a little surprised that there wasn't a guest book and had to sort through a few television issues. Also, the outside trashcan was nearly full when we arrived and we couldn't get a direct answer on what to do with overflow trash. Luckily, the garbage had been emptied by our last morning there and we didn't have to leave anything in the house. The drive to Bryson City is under 5 min and only about 20-25 to the Cherokee Casino (that was date night). We had a nice visit.
The 3 king size beds and walk in showers was fabulous. We had alot of fun around the fire pit.
Excellent location close to downtown. Loved there were multiple King beds to sleep in also. Very comfy and happy with the fire pit also. Only items were the hornets nest that was outside (hornets were coming out of the house under the upstairs deck in the hundreds) made us uncomfortable with grilling out and the internet was slow for a property with internet based tvs and streaming. Wish it was faster and better internet. But would stay there again for the convenience to downtown Bryson City!
We found the house clean and fairly well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. Wish the TV service was easier to understand but the location was great close to town but private. Could use more dish towels and bath towels, however there where eight adults in the house
My family and I travel often and this was by far the cleanest Vrbo home we’ve rented so far! It was so close to everything we came to Bryson City to do! Perfect for all GSMR excursions! Highly recommend!
Great size. Beautiful house with a great yard. Plenty of room for our family and very convenient to everything in Bryson City.
Just a few minutes from downtown! Super cute & clean house. Really enjoyed the outside space including fire pit area. Will come again!
This property was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and everything we needed for a getaway to the Smokies. The location can't be beat. You are only about 5 minutes away from the Deep Creek area of GSMNP, and it took a couple minutes by car to reach everything adorable downtown Bryson City has to offer, including the GSM Railroad. Highly recommend!
This is a great house, and very easy to get to and accessible. We had grandparents and toddlers, and everyone was comfortable and happy. We especially loved the outdoor space, as the weather was gorgeous. And it was an easy and short ride into town. Just two things to be aware of: there are two bedrooms upstairs that got a little warm at night (late May, with AC on). With the windows cracked open it was fine but there aren’t screens on the windows. Also, the staircase itself is just something to be aware of if you have young kids—ours wanted to go up and down constantly and needed supervision. We should have brought a gate and a fan or two with us, but other than that, it was perfect and we would absolutely come back to stay.
Plenty of room and a great place to ring in the New Years!
