The home is close to everything…shopping, restaurants, golf…and yet in a quiet safe neighborhood. The best location! The kitchen is better stocked than mine, the pool is very well maintained twice a week, the showers are great with lots of hot water and the beds are really comfortable. Communication with the owners were great! A wonderful home for adults but probably not great for young children as there are decorative objects all around. My only negative might be that minor repairs need to be made (nothing we couldn’t live with for two months) We loved staying there.
This house was exactly as advertised. Whilst the house itself had everything we needed, the star of the show was the pool / jacuzzi / patio area. The pool and jacuzzi are a really good size and easy to heat. The patio had an abundance of furniture and shaded areas. We were able to park the car in the garage and out of the heat. The wifi worked perfectly and even as far as out on the far side of the pool area. The kitchen area had everything we required. The beds were comfortable and the air con was good. The house is an easy walk to El Paseo. Just perfect.
We enjoyed the house and pool very much. The location is just a block or so behind El Paseo in Palm Desert. It’s an easy walk to shopping and dining. The owner provides an in-depth review of how things operate which we found very helpful. The owner was also very responsive to our requests and small issues. Very easy to deal with! The house is a mid-century modern which has been remodeled to offer high end kitchen, bathrooms, lighting and a great crystal fireplace. The bed linens were also high end hotel quality . Very comfortable home to enjoy with friends or family!
Great clean house and the backyard is amazing. Perfect for our family of 4! We were able to walk to shops, relax by the pool and were right there if we wanted to go out. Will definitely be back.
We enjoyed our stay in this very well stocked home. The pool and yard are wonderful. You cannot beat this location for access to everything Palm Desert has to offer. The owners were excellent to deal with and very responsive during the booking process. I highly recommend this home and plan to come back again next year!
We had a great 3 week break at the house. The location is perfect and the pool/spa was ideal for kids. Thanks Again for everything! Shawn
This is the second year my family has spent Christmas in the palm desert area but the first time renting this wonderful house. It was perfect for our two young boys, who swam every day despite the cooler morning temperatures! The location is central, walking distance to El Paseo, short drive to hiking spots, The Living Desert countless restaurants and shopping, all of which we enjoyed! The house itself was spotless, well appointed and nicely decorated. It is definitely a spot we will return to again!!
My wife, small dog, and I rented this fabulous home for two weeks in April. The house, backyard, and pool were everything we expected and more. First, it is a very quiet neighborhood and the house and yard are very private. The pool and pool deck are spectacular. The grapefruit tree was loaded with ripe fruit. The house had every convenience we needed. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfy. Several mornings we'd make the 15 minute walk down to El Paseo to get our Starbuck's coffee. The house is centrally located and within a few minutes drive of everything we needed. An added bonus was two visits from the neighborhood Road Runner. We also kept fresh food in the hummingbird feeder and their visits were non-stop. We've rented several homes over the years in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area and this one is by far the best. We will be back.
My husband and I stayed at the home for a week in February. The house is modern, comfortable and has a well-equipped kitchen, laundry just off the kitchen, two nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds and bedding. If there was any negative about the house itself, it's that the lighting in the living room could be better for evening reading. Otherwise, we were very pleased. In fact, the cable TV even included NBA League Pass, which for basketball nuts like us, was a real plus! The grounds are very nice. The yard is well-groomed and has an enormous grapefruit tree from which we were welcome to pick fruit. The pool and spa were great! The pool is large and easy to heat, and we probably spent almost as much time in the pool as in the house. The location is very convenient--just a short drive or a reasonable walk to all the shops and restaurants of El Paseo. The house is also a 10-minute (if that) drive to the Living Desert. We enjoyed it there, but it you're traveling with children, it's a must-see. The owner, Michael, and his agent, Diana, were very helpful when we had questions. One very small issue: Check with Diana before you arrive at the house to make sure that you have the correct code for the lock box to get the key. When we arrived, we couldn't get in because the code on our info sheet was wrong. Diana returned our call promptly and gave us the correct code, so it was fine. But it might be a good idea to check--and, if you plan to arrive after dark, bring a little flashlight!
My husband and I spent the month of February living in this fine property in Palm Desert. We found the home to be very clean and comfortable (beds and linen in particular) and the kitchen thoughtfully outfitted with everything we might need. But the best of all for us was the very private saltwater pool and spa sitting in the center of the beautifully landscaped back yard. We loved it! It was simply heavenly bobbing around on a noodle soaking in the mountain views. Two of our adult children and one 10 year old granddaughter visited for a few days and the pool became their 'living room'. It was perfect for us. We appreciated the location as well. The El Paseo shops and restaurants were very close and our neighborhood gave us plenty of quiet streets for our morning walk. The Living Desert Museum is just down the road and not to be missed. Joshua Tree National Park and the San Jacinto Tramway are well worth a visit. San Diego is a short drive away. But, lets be honest--it's hard to leave the pool. The owners were within easy phone reach and most attentive and accommodating to our needs and questions. They clearly love their house and wanted their guests to feel the same way. We would definitely return.
