Our group was a bunch of guys coming into KY for our Bourbon Trail trip. Other than a quick breakfast and sleeping, we didn’t spend much time at the house. The house was perfect for what we needed. If you want a resort, this isn’t your place. If you want a clean place to rest your head and hang out, this is your place. There were 10 beds and 2 couches which was perfect for our group. We are a bunch of guys who like being together and aren’t pretentious. The house is old, so don’t expect it to be perfect. The floors creak, it’s a little cold downstairs, but we enjoyed our stay. There appears to be an abandoned car next door and the house behind the property is boarded up, however, we walked to dinner two nights and there were absolutely zero issues.
Great property walking distance to bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Highly recommend the house for large groups looking for easy access to the town and short Ubers to downtown! Thanks again.
Very nice part of town in up and coming area with clean, quiet streets. You can walk to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and boutique stores. We felt completely safe walking in the evenings. House is old , so open and close things carefully. All in all a great place to stay when traveling with friends!
Had a group of guys to golf and catch some races at Churchhill downs. House was massive and will definitely be a great place to stay once the construction is done. Faith was a great help and very easy to communicate with.
This was perfect for what we wanted. It would not have been great for longer than a couple days. Was a bit over priced but was very cute on the inside.
we Enjoyed our stay here. It was close to everything!
There were 6 of us meeting in Louisville for a high school reunion, so we fit comfortably in the 6 large beds. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The house has an odd layout (e.g., kitchen upstairs, 3 outside doors, two of which are blocked off, on main floor, etc.), but overall a wonderful experience. Great communication by the owners. Would stay here again! Thanks for a great place to stay.
Beautiful, well appointed home located in a great neighborhood. We had 12 ladies; with 2 queen beds in each of the three bedrooms, it worked out perfectly. Actually, the bedrooms were larger than most hotel rooms. The common area has plenty of seating, although some of our best times were hanging out in the kitchen. Appliances are newer and everything worked well. We walked to many places - Irish Rover, Silver Dollar, North End Café, The Hub and shopping. The neighborhood felt very safe and the people we met were extremely friendly. We started our weekend with lunch at RiverHouse and a tour of Copper and Kings. We were in NuLu on Saturday afternoon, downtown for dinner Saturday Night and finished up with brunch at Bristol's. A good time was had by all.
Great place to stay for a guys weekend. Clean and had everything needed. The beds were really comfortable and the location is nice with some good local spots walking distance from the house.
The building was in a great and convenient location. Street parking wasn't an issue since the building was on the corner of a short dead end street. The doors had a combo lock which was very useful. The house was huge, adorable, and came with all the essentials we needed for an excellent trip! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It wasn't cheap, but it was very reasonable once split between all the women. The property managers were very kind, timely, and a pleasure to work with.
