Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay, but unfortunately our last. The property is in need of maintenance. On check in we found broken latch on a bedroom and 2 sliding screen doors off their tracksand the floors were filthy. Not sure whether someone planned to mop them as the mop and broom were left out in the lounge room. Cobwebs everywhere and the balcony railings not clean which impacted the view. 1 bed broke on the first night and this was left in the room for the entire stay despite promises to move. My family needed to sleep on the floor which was extremely uncomfortable. One of the single beds was so badly bowed that it was also unusable, it looks like it will break next. The property next door is being renovated so week days were interrupted by jack hammering, bob cats and hammer drills. Not the peaceful, relaxing time we hoped for. The estate agents I spoke to were apologetic however did nothing to rectify the issues during our stay or contact afterwards despite promises.

The four bedrooms and four bathrooms ensure everyone has privacy when needed and the large deck perfect for sunset drinks.

Location is great although you will need a car to get around unless you like long walks. Keep an eye out for the friendly kookaburra, but watch he doesn’t try to steal your food right off the kitchen bench! The 4th bedroom is separate to the house (above the garage) which is great for privacy but might not be ideal with small children.Cleanliness was adequate. It is clear that the cleaners do all the ‘basic’ cleaning jobs very well - the kitchen and bathrooms are clean, the furniture is neat and there’s plenty of options for seating. There are some areas that clearly get missed in the general clean - wardrobe mirrors with handprints, sanding dust from past renovations on tops of bathroom fittings, cobwebs and dust behind the stairwell glass balustrade. These aren’t things that affect your day-to-day use of the house, but a good ‘spring clean’ into all those nooks and crannies would elevate the house and your stay.
