This could have been a great place to stay. It was the perfect location. The house was large enough to accommodate my family. Things that we didn't like: 1) The owner need to get a better cleaning crew. The place needs a good cleaning. 2) The linen need to be replaced. 3) We were inconvenient from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm because the power was out due to the Georgia Utility doing work. I know it wasn't the owner fault. The upstairs bathroom had mold under the sink. Overall my family made it work. We Lysol everything down, purchase linen from Walmart and didn't open the bathroom cabinet. Like I said before, this could be a great place to stay if the owner would take care of those issues.
House, location and neighborhood were great. Very spacious house however it wasn’t very clean and it was bare bones in regards to supplies (no paper towels for example). They need to give this place a deep clean and just put in a little bit of effort on the supply front and it would have been fine.
We like the area, the community was nice! We were very disappointed in the condition of the house, especially in the cleanliness of the house
Upon arriving after10pm we were unable to access the house due to incorrect access codes that were provided. We ultimately had to get the code to the lockbox and enter using the emergency key. This took some time as it was difficult to get a prompt response from the property manager. Upon entering, we found the house was dirty and in a significant state of disrepair. Problems included the following: Broken cabinet doors in the kitchen. Old, molded coffee grounds in the coffee pot. Dirty kitchen floors that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Upholstery stains on the banquette seating. Almost everything was filthy and over all just looked run down. Not AT ALL as pictured!!! Dirty/patched walls with unpainted drywall mud. Dead insects throughout the house. Clumps of hair on the bathroom rug and in the sinks. Urine-stained mattress on the master bed. I could continue, but suffice to say the condition was NOT how the house was represented, and was unfit for our stay. Given the state of the home, we were forced to seek other accommodations, and were fortunate to find a hotel room in a neighboring town. As soon as we saw the state of the house I reached out to the property manager. Their solution was to have someone come out in the morning (after we had already found other accommodations) to try and clean the house. I explained that the house was in such a terrible state of despair that there was no way we were going back. I then attempted to get a refund via the property manager and VRBO and both eventually just ghosted us. I then contested the charges with my credit company and provided pictures of the terrible condition of the home. Thankfully, I was eventually able to get a full refund via my credit card. Long story short.... this house is NOT at all how it is pictured online. DO NOT book this house!!!!!
This house was wonderful. In town to see my oldest and grandchild and it is easier for us to rent a house than a hotel. This location is very convenient to shopping, groceries, highways and in our case our son. The bedrooms are nice and spacious. The bedding was wonderful and towels were easy to find if we needed extra. Neighborhood is large but has nice walking paths, playground and pool. The soap, toiletry kits, and shampoo are nice touches! The Pantry and office space helped us stay organized without cluttering up the kitchen. And they were always VERY prompt in communication! We loved our stay!! Note that the dishwasher doesn't have racks to work and the kitchen isn't abundantly stocked.
