Luxe Lodge Near Smoky Mountains: Views & Hot Tub!

We had a great stay and enjoyed the house, especially the pool table and hot tub.

The house was absolutely phenomenal. It had everything we needed from plenty of spices to plenty of bakeware. Children’s books, games, adult books. It was quiet and serene. It was very close to town. It was just perfect the hot tub and the view from the hot tub were exquisite we will definitely return back. Our adult children were able to go over to Maggie Valley and ski and snow tube with their children. The area has everything you can imagine within a 30 minute drive. We had the greatest week. Thank you for hosting us.

The property was great for our family. We had my parents and two kids, plus a friend each. We all had comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The house has a fantastic view. Waynesville was great, and we enjoyed going to town each day. The road to the house is easy to navigate, and I loved the drive up to the house. We will stay again.

We were extremely disappointed in the Luxe Lodge. What was advertised and what we experienced were very different.The grill shown online was a Weber, but the house had a cheap substitute with no igniter, forcing us to light it manually—dangerous and frustrating. The Master bed was rock hard, squeaky, and impossible to sleep on. For a house advertised to fit 14, basic comfort was missing.The kitchen was poorly equipped: a burnt-tasting coffee maker, scratched non-stick pans (some dirty on arrival), and not enough utensils for even 10 people. The spa, pictured as scenic, was actually tucked behind a garage on a mossy deck. Towels smelled of mildew, the water pressure couldn’t support multiple showers, and several lights were burnt out.Maintenance and safety were serious concerns. Carpet staples stuck up in the basement, the Master toilet leaked and made loud noises at night, and seating in the living room didn’t come close to fitting the group size advertised. Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, and the Fire Stick remote was missing.There were a few positives: each bedroom had its own bathroom, the second fridge in the garage was helpful, and the view was nice. Unfortunately, these did not outweigh the many problems.This property feels neglected, misrepresented, and far below the standard its price suggests. What should have been a comfortable group stay turned into one frustration after another. I cannot recommend it.

Very nice house, well supplied. Had a few problems with hot tub and fireplace and the property manager tried to fix, was very apologetic, got a break on the rental fee.

House was beautiful, with plenty of room. Drive up the mountain was the only down side.

We had a great stay! Loved the house, check in was easy. Everything worked great and accommodated everyone in our group!

Our 3 generational family of 13 enjoyed a wonderful Christmas week. No snow, but otherwise everything was even better than expected. No problems with the hot tub, fireplace, or the grill. The kitchen was well appointed, and even had a bread making machine that we had fun with. Would definitely do again.

This house was wonderful! Plenty of rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms (each bedroom had its own bathroom!) and the kitchen was stocked. This house is very high up a mountain, if you get car sick, be prepared! Once you get to the house it has a beautiful view. There were quite a few spider webs in the house but it was very clean otherwise.

Stayed with in-laws and children and had a great time. Close to restaurants and stores.
