Wolfeboro, New Hampshire
Our 5 bedroom/3 bath home sits on a quiet cove on beautiful and peaceful Lake Wentworth. Our unique location is just steps from Albee Beach and adjacent to the Cotton Valley Rail-Trail that provides a quick and scenic jaunt to downtown Wolfeboro. Every inch of our approximately 1950 sq. ft. home has been recently remodeled and you'll find stunning and private lakeside views within.
As our guest you will enjoy a mini-split air conditioning system, a new eat-in kitchen with granite countertops and stainess steel appliances, a barbecue and firepit area, a covered screened porch and large deck area for outdoor eating and lounging, a new laundry room with ample storage, and a master bedroom complete with an ensuite bathroom. Each of our five bedrooms is furnished with room darkening shades, white-noise machines, and comfortable cotton linens and towels. Our kitchen is well-equipped with all the amenities and basics you might need for a gourmet stay. We also provide a high-chair, pack-n-play, and selection of toys and children's books for the little ones.
To help you fully enjoy your vacation at the lake, the use of our home includes beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, two kayaks, a tippy old canoe, two stand-up paddleboards, and a small fleet of old cruiser bicycles (we have a couple helmets but do recommend bringing your own). For a rainy day in you'll find puzzles and games galore, and a large flat-screen television with Netflix and Xbox should you need it. We are a scenic bike/walk or a short drive away from all that downtown Wolfeboro has to offer- restaurants, coffee shops, gift stores, Cate Park concerts, Kingswood Golf Course, grocery markets, and of course... ICE CREAM!
This property is more than merely a rental investment to us; we are lifetime lovers of this lake and we reside at the home as much as possible. Pets are not allowed but please be aware that the home is NOT a pet-free residence.
We are a group of 5 young adults. We had a great week at this property. The house was very comfortable. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were very well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing we missed was having cable on the TV. We have been renting in this area for @ 10 years, and this is one of the best properties we have stayed at.
3 generations on this vaca: grandparents, adult kids and toddlers too. This property checked all the boxes for us: waterfront with kayaks and SUPs, a public beach 1 house lot away (w/tables and bathhouse and sandy, shallow areas for little ones), proximity to Wolfeboro, the rail trail and the White Mountains if you want to get in a hike or 2. The house is perfect; it looks brand new and is equipped with just about anything you'd want (including an owner who was accessible for any questions we might have). Great appliances (we cooked in most nights), comfy beds, spotless bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen, laundry, and a wonderful screened in porch. Plus, bikes for the rail trail! We had a blast - the week went way too fast.
