Luxe Lake Cumberland Retreat w/ Decks on 1 Acre!

From the moment we arrived, this property felt like a dream come true. The panoramic lake views from the deck were absolutely breathtaking—morning coffee never tasted so good. Inside, every detail was perfect: the layout made it feel spacious yet cozy, everything was spotless, and the thoughtful organization made settling in effortless. You can tell the owners truly care about creating a special experience. This is, without a doubt, one of the finest places to stay in the Lake Cumberland area. If I could give it more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat. I’m already looking forward to coming back and making more memories here!

Check-in was very easy as our host was very good about texting the necessary information. The house is beautifully decorated and the owners have gone to great lengths to anticipate their guests needs and provide for them. We have rented vacation homes in the past but none of them were as well equipped as this one. The kitchen was fabulous! The kids had a great time in the game room and the two decks were great places to drink morning coffee, sip drinks in the evening and grill out. Our toddler loved the screened-in porch in the back and spent a fair amount of time playing there. The fireplace would make this porch a cosy retreat on a chilly, fall evening. There was plenty of room to accommodate our three cars. The only issue we had was that it was not very easy to reach the boat dock/lake from the house. I understand there are plans to construct easier access to the dock, so it sounds like that issue will be resolved. If we ever return to Lake Cumberland, we would certainly want to rent this house again. I highly recommend it.

We had a very nice stay! The house is in a great location. The kids enjoyed the dock, and it was handy with our boat. We traversed the path to and from the dock many times and, although steep, it was doable by our group.

We absolutely love this beautiful home. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The view of the lake from the deck, while sipping your morning coffee, is gorgeous. Everything is so clean. So many exras included. We will definitely be back.

We wanted a nice quiet weekend of relaxation and that's exactly what we got. Beautiful home. Host has everything there that you will need as well as condiments in the fridge, a smores station fully stocked, coffee, sugar, etc. They went above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay. Plenty of towels, beach towels, etc. Great place to stay. We will be back!

Great location. Great place, beautiful views

Went there with my wife, sister neice,her husband and kids. House was clean lots and lots of games including poker table, pool table air hockey and 4 days of bingo!!!! Spacious living room, down stairs area and kitchen. Plenty of amenities that you wouldn't think of. Beds were comfortable plenty of room on the decks and the highlight was the screen porch with fireplace.

I would give 10 stars if I could! This home is stunning! We spent a lot of time on the screened porch with a roaring fire! The kitchen has everything you need. Like seriously, don't bring anything but food! We spent one night playing poker and pool downstairs. The basement is beautifully decorated. So much attention to detail. The house was immaculate and provided everything you could want! I will definitely be back!

We had an enjoyable stay. Excellent communication with the owners, property had all we needed and more. Great location, ample parking and perfect size dock to anchor our boat to and play off of. Only con, as others mentioned, was the steep trail down to the water. Requires proper footwear and stability. Wasn’t an issue for us since we’re all adults in decent shape. We didn’t have young ones or elderly people with us.

We had a great time! Loved the place. Plenty of room for our large group. We had a few brave, agile people that made it down to the dock. Wouldn’t really advertise it as lake accessible. Would absolutely recommend and/or stay again.

What a beautiful place! We wanted for nothing. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, clean and beautiful deck area. Our questions and concerns were answered immediately. We will definitely be back

The private dock was an amazing addition to have only 10-15 minute boat ride from State Dock. I would love to stay here again!

House was beautiful, owner was very nice Couple down sides- seemed like some of the beds had bot been used in awhile and had some dirt in them, TVs were all in spanish so we couldnt watch anything (tried to fix it but it seemed the setting was locked). DO NOT COUNT ON GETTING TO THE DOCK Booked the house to be able to float from the dock. The walk down was so steep and rocky that we ended up having to rent a pontoon which we did not want to do spend money on. The seller was very open about the walk being rough but it was near impossible. She did say they were getting steps in the fall so that might help, but that will still be a ton of very steep steps.
