Luxe by the Bay - A TOGAR Family Vacation Rental

The property was very nice and in a great area. The pool was nice as well as the hot tub. They had it cleaned the second day we were there. The neighborhood was nice and located close to everything. The home had all the things needed to go to the beach which we appreciated seeing we flew there from NC. The only issues we had were that we never got the key code to get into the home and we had to reach out to the host to get that ourselves. The other issue we had was that the electronic door must have run out of batteries, and we could not access the home. We notified the host and was told to just leave the back door open when we left so we could get in and out. I did not like that we had to do that for safety reasons but that was our only option. We also had to go buy some ice makers because the ice maker was not operable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would rent this home again.

Visiting family in the area and this was a lovely place to hang out. Comfortable beds and well equipt kitchen. Communication easy with Karla.

The only positive was that our host, Karla, sounded sincere & did try to find a place for us to stay. At approx. 9:40PM, on the day our rental was to begin, we sent Karla a VRBO msg. stating that we were 20 min. away & asking that she text the house's access code to my phone. She quickly called to say renters were already in the house! We made the 1st.pmt. 6 weeks before the rental date & the 2nd. before it was due. We received several VRBO msgs. during that 6 week period related to the confirmation of this rental. Karla denied knowledge of our pmts. & communications. We were fortunate to find a hotel room. On 4/11 I rec. a VRBO msg. that read Reservation cancelled GUEST-MINIMUM-AGE. I assume this is the false reason Karla gave for the cancellation. On 4/15 we rec. a full refund. Learning that we had nowhere to stay @ 10:00PM, on a Fri. night, in a city that we have never visited, was a horrible experience.

The house looked exactly as pictured. Very clean which means a lot to me! Location was good- a little more residential than I expected but short distances to most places. We were unable to use the pool because of the pool being dirty after a storm. The hot tub broke

We had a great stay! The house was great and had everything we needed. The only negative was that the hot tub was not working 2/3 days of our stay. I was never able to access the guide for the house for check in/out details, WiFi, etc, but the host was great about responding to our messages.

My friends and I were in town for a wedding and we loved staying at this house. The living space is so open, the pool is a great place to hang out, and all of the rooms and bathrooms are updated. Highly recommend!

The location of this property was a short 20 minute drive from Baycare Ballpark for Phillies Spring Training. The living room sofa and beds were all comfortable. It would have been nice if the pool was heated as the water was still quite cold in late March.

We just arrived and the hot tub was felty dirty. The host was more nasty than the hot tub? She asked us to leave if we did not like her place. She promise a refund? She did not refund nothing I had to go through a dispute and she practically stole our money. I hope that make her happy. Enjoy!’
