Great place to stay. Was able to easily Uber to downtown Boston. Owner was very accommodating and helped us with parking.

We had a very comfortable stay at the 1st floor of the house. The location is pretty easy for taking transit into both Boston and Salem, which we took advantage of. Bus stops right in front of the house. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and it was a quick walk to a coffee shop and plenty of other places. Charles was a great host and the place had everything we needed for 4 nights.

Perfect location and quiet neighborhood

The room was stylish and very clean.The host was always polite and quick to respond to any questions, which made my stay very comfortable.There were plenty of seasonings and cooking utensils, so it was easy to cook.It would have been even better if there had been a washing machine, but there was a laundromat about a 5-minute walk away.I definitely recommend this place!

It was perfect for us to spend Halloween day in Salem. The place was clean and comfortable with easy access to the train.

We enjoyed our stay here! Our host was extremely responsive and great to communicate with! The only challenge was parking; however we were able to easily communicate with the other tenants.

Unfortunately, this property did not live up to expectations. We were in the downstairs unit. The upstairs was sooo loud. They weren’t running or jumping, but every step echoed throughout our unit. It’s an old house that creaked under any movement. Worst than that, four women were only given four washcloths for four nights of stay and six towels. No hand towels were supplied. When I messaged the host about the shortage, he was rude and said there was nothing he could do at first. When I pressed further, he finally said he would bring some the next night. He NEVER brought more towels, washcloths or hand towels. The absolute worst thing was two of the nights he remotely turned up the heat without notifying us. When we finally realized what was happening, I messaged him. He turned it down but we were already sweating and red faced. He apologized but did it again the next night. Also, the parking he says is available in his description is actually only one parking spot to be shared between the two units. So, you’re supposed to speak to the other tenants if they park in the street and block you in the driveway. What?! He doesn’t tell you that until day of check in. So, if you like to wash your hands and face more than once a day and dry them on something you haven’t dried your entire body on, don’t stay here.

The residence was perfect for our girls trip, we were close to the train station to get us out to Salem as well as to get us into North station to get to Boston. Very clean and accommodating.

It was a nice place and easy to get to train station to downtown. Parking was a bother since you have to share with the upstairs resident. All in all it was a great stay.

Very nice spot with enough room to spread out and relax.

Nice park for children in the back of the house. The bed was so comfortable. Near a big supermarket. The street is narrow. We enjoyed our stay and found everything that was needed.

A lovely clean spacious apartment with good air conditioning in all the main rooms. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The property is well located being a 15 minute Uber journey to downtown Boston or 50 minutes on the T. Communication with the host was generally good although they didn’t answer our questions about storage of luggage so we had to do our own research and make our own arrangements.
