A true landmark of Old Town Florence, this beautifully restored 1907 farmhouse offers an Oregon Coast experience like no other. You'll enjoy gorgeous views and unbeatable walking access to the heart of town in this scenic spot across the street from the Siuslaw River dock and boat launch. Because of its size, this magnificent home is an ideal venue for hosting weddings, retreats, workshops, meetings, classes, and other group gatherings.
This two-story home sits on the edge of Old Town Florence, within strolling distance of great dining, shopping, boating, fishing, crabbing (which can be done right across the street from the house!), the Siuslaw Pioneer Museum, and Exploding Whale Memorial Park. Please bring your boat and launch it at the public ramp across the road, or simply drop a fishing line or book a charter boat for a day out on the water. You'll also be within easy driving distance of Honeyman State Park, South Jetty Beach, Heceta Beach, the Sea Lion Caves, Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, C&M Stables, and the Heceta Head Lighthouse.
After a day spent riding the dunes, hiking, river rafting, or storm-watching on the coast, come home to grab a family photo with the cowboy crab statue in the front yard. Outside, enjoy nautical-themed landscaping and a 300-square-foot side deck that's fully equipped with a nine-burner island gas grill, umbrellas, and a picnic table that's perfect for outdoor events, offering a wonderful view of Florence Harbor.
As you enter (via a gentle ramp from the carport), you'll be in awe of the light, views, and character that fill the house. Every inch has been carefully restored with new siding, sheetrock, paint, plumbing, electrical system, and renovated bathrooms. Still, the historical heritage is fully displayed through original Douglas fir floors, beadboard wainscoting, beautiful wallpaper, and themed decor inspired by the Old West. The remodeled kitchen features new appliances and an original breakfast nook that was thoughtfully rebuilt.
For entertainment, gather in the fantastic family room to find a saloon bar with a 60-can mini-fridge and wine rack, a big-screen TV with cable and Blu-ray, and a sound bar that can stream music via Bluetooth. Each of the bedrooms has a smart TV as well. To ensure you get a great night's sleep, considerable care was taken in choosing plush, high-end, name-brand mattresses. Other in-home essentials include a private washer/dryer, central air conditioning and heat, and grab bars in one of the downstairs bathrooms (in addition to the entrance ramp).

Had a great family trip and enjoyed the house. Well stocked kitchen and prime location for walking into town. My only feedback is some floor fans for the bedrooms would be nice as it can get a little stuffy in the bedrooms at night. We will be back next year for our annual trip!
Awesome location and very nicely appointed and maintained property. Would highly recommend!
Great linens with enough for all seven of us.
Acommadations overall were good; all agreed beds were awful; the key code for entrance and exit was difficult; we loved the decor; no chairs to sit on the deck; would be nice to have fans placed in rooms; air was stale; I think the the kitchen was the best room; walking distances to old town was very good; clean, nice furnishings; neighbohhood quiet. Four o'clock is late to get inside.
Recently returned from a visit to Florence, OR where we stayed in this amazing home. We had everything we needed - not only did it have a large kitchen, washer/dryer, areas to relax and incredible views, we were right across the street from a coffee shop, gorgeous view of the Siuslaw River and one block from main street shopping (the neatest shops ever!). Beds were super comfy too! Can't wait to come back!
