Lovely Renovated 4 Bedroom home with easy highway access and optional Gym Access

The house does offer everything in the listing, but with many caveats. Some of the issues we faced were: lots (lots!) of cockroaches in the kitchen, the smoke detector batteries weren’t provided and then later removed by the cleaning staff so it wouldn’t stop beeping, the lockbox consistently stopped working so we were locked out multiple times (at least 10), the AC is in poor condition and doesn't go below 74 at night and stays at 80 during the afternoons. There were also two fused lightbulbs in the bedrooms upon love in, the bathroom door didn’t close, and the flush wasn’t working, but the staff is responsive to concerns and repairs as they come up until we asked for a refund for all our issues. Then, we were pretty much completely ignored.

Aside from some cleanliness issues when we arrived, we had a good experience with the management. You get a fair amount of space for a good price, but it’s pretty outdated.

The host was gracious and provided Christmas decorations. Home was clean with easy access. It took some getting used to to operate TV and needed to have own accounts to access some channels; couldn't just go to basics channels to watch local news. The only issue was that the oven didn't work and you had to plug In the stove to light pilot to turn on the burners on the stove top then unplug so alarm wouldn't go off. This was annoying and having to drive 30 minutes to sons apartment to use oven to cook Christmas dinner was also an issue. Was supposed to fix during stay but didn't and stated its due to holidays and could not get part. (Didnt find out about the stove issue until the day before when it was too late to make a change). This took time away from family and made it difficult to reheat food. The location was great., close to stores with easy access to highways. The owner stated he was replacing stove after we left.

We really enjoyed staying here. Excellent bang for your buck. Enclosed back yard, plenty for bedrooms and sleeping space for families. Good location. Great hospitality. Check out Gringo’s (Tex Mex) (on non busy hours) and Mirrey Tacos y Discada (authentic). There’s a Walmart and grocery store that’s not far away. It’s a residential community located near the interstate. We also like Urban Air, which is about 5 mins away and there’s a kids ninja place towards the Woodlands (kids museum there too!). Church at Calvary Chapel Woodlands. I think anyone who stays here will have a good experience!

Me and a three other roommates lived in this house over this past summer. Overall, we had a good stay. The house is in very good condition with a fully stocked kitchen, linens, and other amenities. The appliances, AC, etc all work very well. The only things we needed to bring were our personal belongings and food. There were a few maintenance issues early on (gas leak, front door lock issues, burnt out lightbulbs, etc). Most of these were resolved within the first couple weeks, excluding the front door lock, which wasn't fixed until the last week of our stay. I'll also briefly note that the wifi was pretty poor in general. It would slow down to a halt randomly throughout the day and especially in the evenings. Streaming from Netflix, YouTube, etc was often a challenge at night. Despite those few hiccups, the staff is very attentive and responded to issues very quickly. For example, the AC went out on a Thursday night, but after reaching out to the staff it was fixed by Friday afternoon. At the point we left the house, everything was in functional order, and we weren't having any issues (beyond the wifi). I would definitely recommend this place as a cost effective option for anyone staying in Houston for any amount of time. It has ample space and sits in a convenient location. Overall it's a great value, and I would definitely stay here again.
