Swim with manatees on the west coast.
See a rocket launch on the east coast.
Take a drive the northeast coast and visit St Augustine, the oldest city in the US.
Get tropical in Miami or even Key West, a few hours southeast of Orlando.
***We have a new super fast train system with connections from Orlando to Miami for a stress free scenic and luxurious ride.
Really liked staying here. It was easy to add an additional night and the pool was lovely. I had some concerns about ants and broken blinds and they were fixed immediately. They do ask for A LOT of personal info to check in due to fraud and you have to physically check in. Everyone was very nice.
Better than the pictures!! All was great! Had issue with pool alarm, they fixed it right away. Very clean. Very comfortable. Very nice. Also- it had tp, pt, small shampoo etc.
This is a nice property in a gated subdivision. It is close to Disney, but traffic can be very frustrating trying to get to downtown Orlando and Universal. The house has several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The pool, while clear, had lots of dead bugs on the bottom and needs to be vacuumed by the pool maintenance company (according to the schedule they were to have been there the day before we arrived, but you wouldn't know it from looking at the pool). The pool light is out (and that was mentioned in a previous customer's review), there is a tear in the pool screen (which is probably where the bugs are getting in), the patio has a lot of weed growing through the pavement, and the door to the bathroom off the pool area sticks (swollen at the top and is really hard to open, especially while dealing with the aggravating pool alarm).. Also, the houses are very close and neighbors can be noisy (backdoor neighbor frequently violated the outdoor music/speaker rule). The house a nice house and would be good for travelers with kids visiting Disney. We enjoyed our long weekend there, but will probably go with a different choice if we return to the area.
Great property and great neighborhood. Easy check-in/ check-out process. Property management very attentive. Will recommend.
The verticals on the windows did not work The carpets were stained as were the kitchen chairs The patio furniture was broken The outside of the home was very nicely kept up but the inside needs work The location was nice for all the Disney parks and grocery stores The thermostat had a lock box on it, sorry making calls to turn on the heat should not be necessary while your away, ( it was 60 degrees in the house) Most places now have conveniences in the kitchen like a toaster, keurig , these things were missing ? There was no broom for quick kitchen clean ups Very miner, fixable things would help this home be restored
This was a wonderful area to stay in. The neighborhood was beautiful, walks nightly with the dog and the family. Everything you could possibly need is right by (Walmart, grocery stores, plenty of shopping and eating out options). We were maybe 15-20 minutes from Orlando, perfectly removed from the craziness but easy to get to. I definitely recommend this property to large families. We had plenty of room for all 7 of us plus our dog. One 8 year old, two 17 year olds, two 19 year olds and two 40 year olds.
The property was nice, but obviously a rental. A few items needed tidied up, like weeds around the pool. The cleanliness of the property was lacking overall. It definitely needs a deep clean. After dusting the living room tables and removing the weeds around the pool, the house was in decent shape to spend 3 nights. We stayed over the July 4th Holiday and didn't realize the noise that would come with that timing. There were parties at the surrounding houses until 2 - 3 am every night of our stay. The houses and pools were so close, it was hard not to be kept awake by the loud singing and music blaring in addition to the screaming and laughing as if it was in the middle of the day. The neighbors has zero respect for the fact that no everyone wanted to be part of their party until 3 am. Overall, the house was roomy and spacious. The living room furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and cookware. The drive to the Disney theme parks is 20 minutes, so make sure to budget in that time if you plan on going to the parks.
Not what I expected a villa to be. The place was not given a thorough inspection prior to our arrival. The washing machine was half full of water, oven light did not work, microwave not functioning properly, coffee machine unusable(had to be replaced), iron leaked all over our clothes (had to be replaced). The beds were uncomfortable and needed to be thoroughly cleaned as there were dust bunnies even under the mattress cover. The place was outfitted with the cheapest furniture and accessories. Not what I expect from what is referred to as a villa. It would have also been nice if a few cleaning supplies had been provided and not expect the renter to purchase these as well. The pool maintenance guy had to be called back to do his job properly as he spent less then 2 minutes on his first visit. He did not check the chemical balance or clean the filter on his second visit either. This was not done until 2 days before our departure when the pool heater was turned off. The villa in general needs a thorough cleaning and things need to be repaired and/or replaced.
This was our first family vacation as a blended family and we had a wonderful time in Florida. The home we stayed in was clean and very equipped! Definitely would vacation through HomeAway again! Thank you!
