Communication could have definitely been better. Entrance is through the back door and not the front.
There is a decent selection of games for the family and we got the internet working on the second night which allowed us to watch TV and log in to our Netflix. Don't expect to use the fireplace, it's not for guest. There is an outdoor fire pit though. The appliances are nice and work well. Plenty of plates and some cups, silverware ect. If you want to cook keep it basic. The reviews about the hot tub having an odor is accurate. I've never smelled a musty, ammonia odor quite like that. It's so strong and off putting my husband and I didn't use the hot tub. Minimal towels be prepared to wash towels and to hang dry after use to have enough for your stay.
The neighbors are extremely rude my family were harassed almost daily. We were told the community doesn’t like rentals and renters . They tried to scare us out. The internet cuts out every few minutes so tvs won’t work properly. Be ware or the cranky neighbors. We were cursed and yelled at for playing music on our phones for kids. Unbelievably horrible experience.
Great cabin!! Tons of space, so clean, great location (not totally secluded though), spaces for kids to play in, wonderful firepit and hot tub, easy contact with Vacasa staff. We spent a long weekend in Blairsville with our family of 5, this cabin was perfect. More than enough space! We hope to visit again!
This was a great property! Overall we were very happy with our experience. I would have liked a little better information on how to get into the home. The lock with the code was on the back door and none of the communication told me that. Had to call to get that information. The furniture is older and the dining room table needs replacing but with 7 people it was a property that fit our needs. I would have liked to know that the Wi-Fi was a hotspot and not wired Wi-Fi that made it hard with two teenage boys, 3 littles plus 2 teachers trying to grade. The location is wonderful and the neighbors were very friendly. Honestly the small things I would change does not change the fact that our family would rent this property again! We really did enjoy our stay.
We enjoyed the homes close proximity to getting places. We did a lot of hiking and exploring nearby areas. The home itself was sufficient for our needs. The kids loves exploring the land, hot tub time, and the little caboose to play in. We enjoyed the fire pit and abundance of firewood that was available for our use was great! We do have some constructive criticism to share with the owners as far as little things that are needed in the house. Otherwise our trip was very relaxing and enjoyable.
The house it’s self is beautiful and cozy but we didn’t have that great of experience. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working which really wasn’t that big of a deal if we could’ve got in the hot tub. But when we got there the hot tub was set on 79 and it was freezing. I turned it up to 104 and it literally took 28+ hours to get to 100 degrees. The hot tub was our go to place and we couldn’t even use it as much as we wanted. If they replaced the hot tub with a newer one or one that heats up properly I would’ve given a higher rating. Also the game room it shows on here is just a catch all room. It was dirty and couldn’t be used.
This home was well accommodating with a lovely view of the mountains. Peaceful and beautiful, I hope we get to stay again sometime.
This place was amazing with full amenities. It has a gazebo for outdoor cooking, dining and an indoor play space with a cute little bar, arcade video games and etc. We were with our grandchild. She loved the caboose house at the back of the property with toys in it. The fire place was beautiful. On top of all the amenities, this location was super conveninet. 10 minute to Blairsville downtown, 5 minute to Blueridge lake, 2 minute to Odom Spring vineyard. This was a truly relaxing place. I would come back again.
Grandma, grandpa, son, and 2 grandchildren, ages 7 and 4 spent a couple of days at a lovely spot near Blairsville, Ga. The house was all it was advertised to be. There were so many little extras that the kids enjoyed: a playhouse, a Pac Man arcade and bunk beds. The adults enjoyed the screened in porch and the fact that there were things there to entertain the kids while we were together. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were adequate. There were plenty of kitchen items to make it easy to prepare meals and adequate seating throughout the house and outdoors. We never used the hot tub, and really felt that we shouldn't have been charged an extra $30 fee when we had not intention to use the hot tub, but we truly enjoyed our time there. The property is fairly near a busy highway, so there was considerable noise especially at night on the porch. We found the tap water and ice was not to our liking. We went out and purchased water to drink and ice to use while we were there. I also felt that the towels were just not up to par and was covered with lint after toweling off after my shower. These were small disappointments when considering our time at the house. It was comfortable and clean and afforded us a good time away from home.
