Lovely home with private pool, decks, amazing ocean view, & W/D

Property was clean and check-in smooth. We stayed a week and throughly enjoyed the location and beach. The beds were comfortable, but we had to request extra pillow cases.The kitchen could use some attention. While there seems to be multiples of items like blenders, irons and other appliances, a drawer full of knives, and tablespoons, there were a lot of pans very few matching lids, no salt or any spices, no olive oil or any things else in the cupboards. We also only got enough dishwasher soap for two loads, not enough for a week. During our stay, we had a bad storm and one of the window frames had a poorly patched hole and it leaked a stream of water in the room. That needs to be fixed correctly.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay at this property again. Management responded in a timely manner to our concerns.

Perfect location! Right by the beach! Loved the house! Lots of charm.

Hot tub did not work. Wifi did not work. Microwave on third floor/family room did not work. House was clean. House was grand. Do not waste money for things you think you may get.

I will tell you what I didn't love and that's being lied to about someone on there way to let us in the house, we were ready to go in the house at 3:35pm and wasn't able to access the digital lock until almost 8pm that evening, the pool we paid extra for to be heated wasn't warm until the night before we left, the master bedroom bed had sand in it. Not happy. They told us on multiple times someone would be the in 30 minutes and never showed up.

Not a bad house. Mattresses need some updates. Dishwasher doesn’t like to close Roomy bathrooms and a great deck. Palmetto bugs were present in the house but died off so I assume they use a pest service. Upon arrival the house was not clean, however, I called and the Vacasa staff quickly sent an entire crew to do the job and they were fantastic. One note of interest… the pool company needs to be addressed… we jumped right in and all suffered rash and burning skin… 11 Chlorine tablets in the pool? Horrible. Oh and the straps for the hot tub cover were not attached. Because they were broken. We had a storm and the strap blew over the deck rail and smacked into our friends brand new car all night. Broken window and body damage. That strap needs to be removed or fixed. So many utensils and serve wear and small appliances you will want for nothing! Over all I nice house.

We spent the last week of August in Slow M'Ocean and had an excellent week. Close to the beach, close to the shopping area, everything was great. We had some trouble getting into the house, we never got the text that the house was open - we sat in the driveway and had to wait from 3 until 6 to actually get into the house, other than that, the week and the house itself was great.

Where Do I Start! This House was a huge disappointment. We checked in earlier than wasn't old for us. Upon check-in, we noticed the sheets and house were never cleaned. The beds were full of sand, the house smelled like cigarettes, and the sofas smelled terrible. I had to purchase Lysol and a fresher candle to make it comfortable for the entire week. The pool was unclear if it was salt water or chlorine water. It was never cleaned properly. My son, fighter, and nephew got a nasty rash that unfortunately left us no choice not to use the pool. The hot tub was broken the The Jets didn't work. I have been renting from Hatteras since 2000 and never experienced anything like this time around. Please be careful if you decide to put your kids in the pool. Warning your kid will come out with a rash! Forgot to mention the stove and oven was a problem using it. This home needs a lot of upgrading. A little TLC!

Loved the view from the deck you can see the beach from it. the kids loved the play room the house was just great!

This house is very nice. We enjoyed our stay with the exception of the hot tub. We rent house with hot tubs exclusively and when they dont work or are sub par its disappointing. This particular tub has very weak jets and is nothing more than a bath tub with circulating water. We wont rent this property again as a result. Plus tv in bunk room never worked. We reported it day 1 and nothing was done.
