Lovely home with Black Butte view, large deck, hot tubs, & pools

Fabulous gourmet kitchen (including many cookbooks!).Very beautiful, private location. It’s “our” new Black Butte house!

The house have a very pretty view. For the money, the property is in need of repair. The landscaping needs tending, the swing outside is missing parts of the seat, the shower in the master bathroom is clogged and fills up with water when you shower, black mold in the master shower.

Great location, great view, would definitely rent again.

We had a fantastic trip overall. The location and view were great. And the house itself was really nice. There were, however, a few things that really should be addressed for future guests: 1. Bat droppings: Every day there were fresh bat droppings on the side and back deck right outside the doors. 2. The grill needs a thorough cleaning. All the grease and buildup underneath the grates caught fire when we turned it on. 3. Some of the cupboards are visibly dirty with crumbs.

We loved our stay at the Hilltop Getaway home. It more than met our expectations - the views were amazing. We loved the views out the large windows that looked out through the trees and out to the meadow beyond with horses grazing and black butte in the background. The outside decks were nice as well. Check-in was easy, (and they let us check-in early). The hosts were responsive and communicated well. The home was tidy, comfortable, and clean. We would stay here again.

This house is in the most beautiful setting, nestled in a hillside with an amazing view of a meadow. The house was clean and comfortable and provided a relaxing getaway for our family. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor space. We will definitely be returning to this property.

We’ve stayed in this home many times. It is our favorite place to come unwind. The amenities are great and the view of the meadow is beautiful. The three decks are very nice. It is comfortable and we love it.

We've stayed in several homes in Black Butte and this one is near the top of our list. Great location and views. Comfortable and spacious. One note: This form is asking me about my lakefront experience. This house isn't lakefront. Nothing in BB really is so that's weird. But I don't want that one star to negatively impact anyone's perception of the review.

Home was beautiful and matched the pictures. Make sure to arrive at guest services prior to closing, 2300 hours, in order to get access gate code. Very spacious, both fireplace and wood stove are in good, safe order. Would definitely stay again with family.

Steep fees especially how we pretty much left a spotless house

Very accustomed description of property. Amazing view of forested landscape outside massive stack of windows in great room. Easy travel to skiing and the town of Sisters.

My wife and I rented this house for an anniversary get away. We enjoyed using the fire place and watching the wild turkey flocks passing through the back yard. The only critiques is the jacuzzi drain plug wasn't in making the bath difficult to use. There was also some dust and cobwebs at high windows and bedroom corners. Could be cleaned a little better but overall a it was a very quaint house.

The amazing views from this house are outstanding. The beds are comfortable and bedrooms/bathrooms spacious. The living room is a beautiful place to hang out… especially with a fire going in the fireplace. The dining area has ample room at the large table for a group of 7 and a baby in high chair. We would book again! A fair value for the $…

We love this cabin in Black Butte. Specifically, we love how private it feels as it's tucked slightly down on a hillside, making it seem extremely private and excluded from neighbors. The decks are great, and there is wild life all around. We also love the large, tall windows everywhere in this home that let in all the light and nature views outside. Will definitely book again - thank you!

As posted in previous reviews, this hilltop location is lovely & majestic. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the wild turkey antics, including their running take-offs to get into nearby trees to roost at night. The kitchen is well supplied with all the cooking utensils & gadgets you might need. Outside spaces are wonderful for visiting & relaxing. It was almost a perfect fall location for a sibling reunion (5 of us) & our mom (in her mid 80’s). The home is really in need of a deep clean, however. There was food (and other) debris in carpeted bedrooms & living areas (under & behind furniture), as well as kitchen drawers & cabinets. The bathroom areas were quite clean, but we killed at least half dozen small roaches in the main bath/hall area. I’d like to give the home 5 stars…

Everything. We’ve stayed here about 15x and it is a lovely home to relax in. Great kitchen for cooking. Lots of deck space even for outdoor dining. After a hike or bike ride the jetted tub was very nice.

This house has great potential. It needs a few updates and attention to detail to be a 5

The view is great and the home is great for family get togethers.

The home is beautiful and the peak-a-boo view of the meadow was nice. Turkeys visited the property daily and the deer mom and twins were always just down the hill. Close walk to the Paulina Spring for the best water on the planet ;) We were staying at the ranch to celebrate my sister’s birthday and had our elderly mother with us. The stairs down to the front door were a bit challenging for my mom since there is no handrail. The loft bedroom and “nursery “ type room with the twin bed were quite warm even though the temperature was not too hot. The AC helps a little but we really needed to open the high window in the loft. Unfortunately we didn’t find the ladder until our departure. A couple of the other windows were missing screens so we didn’t open them due to bugs and bats, this would have helped cool the house at night This was a very comfortable home and we would stay again.

Home was lovely. Nice peekaboo view of the horse field and black Butte. Wish we could have stayed longer.
