The resort community of Black Butte Ranch sits 30 miles northwest of Bend and seven miles northwest of charming downtown Sisters. In the summer, several whitewater rafting outfitters have pick-up and drop-off services at the Rec Barn; come winter, you can make the easy 20-mile drive to Hoodoo Ski Area for downhill sporting at its best.
