Family and pet friendly
The home was very comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to Zion’s National Park. We would have liked to have more kitchen towels and dish cloths. Also, the dishwasher doesn’t clean well at all.
Super convenient for adventures. Centrally located between sand hollow and zion. Very close to stores, gas, and restaurants. Super quiet, nice neighborhood. Home is cozy, clean, convenient and comfortable. Perfect backyard for travelers with dogs. Rooms were nice for our group of jeepers. Beds were clean and nice. We had a great stay and used this property as our basecamp while out on our jeep adventures in the area.
The home itself was as advertised and lovely, with a nice-sized yard, and close to Zion. The first thing we noticed was the lawn was way way overgrown. We asked the property manager to have it cut, and the response was sometime this week. We cut it ourselves and it took 10 minutes-there was a mower in the garage. Second thing was the recycle bin was overflowing. Property manager emptied 1/2 the following day. The third thing we noticed, after having been there a day and 1/2, dead roaches outside and inside. I'm not sure if they just exterminated or what, but they were on the kitchen floor, dining room floor, both bathrooms, on the carpets in the den and master bedroom, and in the laundry room. All dead. And outside all over the patio-everywhere. Luckily we were only staying 3 nights and by the time we actually noticed them (having been in and out and up early and home late), we were leaving the next day anyway. Finally, not only was the recyle bin full, but both trash cans were full and it was obvious had not been emptied for some time. The laundry dryer lint filter was stuffed with lint and also hadn't been emptied in some time. The place has such potential for being a cute little rental but it was DISGUSTING. DISGUSTING.
Nice place for a home base to see the surrounding parks. Nice home, but bedding arrangements for six adults not comfortable with two bedrooms having bunk beds, one couple sleeping on two single small mattresses. They sacrificed comfort for occupancy. Overall a good experience.
Zion's Doorstep was perfect for our family of 8 plus grandparents. Loved all the beds to accommodate everyone.
Perfect place to stay when traveling to Zion. Clean, good area, and right on the road to Zion.
A very nice home, but it needs some maintenance. It worked well for our two families but could use some more seating as it the home sleeps 10. It also needs the owner to supply more dishes and silverware (again not enough for the 8 of us). Overall no deal breakers and we had a nice stay.
Nice space, kitchen is well stocked, welcoming signs around and no complicated or condescending rules.
Not very clean. Pots had dried food, counter tops dirty, furniture dusty, outdoor grill grease caked. Broken coffee pot. The property manager (VACASA) did respond to my complaint in a timely fashion, but it shouldn’t be up to the renter to bring such to the property managers attention. The house as okay but in need of some TLC. It felt more like a sterile motel than other VRBO’s I have used that had owner care and personal touch. The town is nice. Everything you would need is close by. Walmart in Hurricane (next town-close) was well stocked and very clean. Zion is only 20 mins away. Other sightseeing is also pretty close. Just disappointed in the condition of the property itself.
Beautiful home, and the people in town couldn’t be more friendly
We stayed for about a week at this house. Everything was super comfortable. The house is 25-30min from the St George airport, and 25 min from Springdale/Zion NP. Dave’s grocery store is about 5 blocks away. We used the grill, and in typical fashion, we ran out of gas mid cook. Never fear, they had an extra tank in the garage! The AC worked great… and it was consistently 104+ everyday we were there. I would highly recommend the property and we will be staying there again.
Had an issue with the HVAC cooling system had previously frozen. Resulting in my stay for 3 days figuring out why the cooking system wasn’t working. Finally with help from Don who helped to fix the issue we were back in vacation mode
