The property is beautifully maintained, clean, nicely decorated and perfect for an extended family gathering with lots of space within the house. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, and there is a nice outdoor area for kids to play. We could walk to get lobster rolls, great sandwiches and salads, and a general store, and Kennebunkport and the Kennebunk beaches are a short drive away. The property manager is very responsive. We have gone to the Kennebunk area for years, and this was a great choice this year.
Well maintained property with lots of space for family gathering. Everything worked well - cooking, sleeping, game playing and the two end porches were an added bonus. Looking forward to returning to companion property next year.
Great house - parking for both houses was terrible-especially since we had a lot of rain and was super muddy (understandable) but car almost got stuck! No place in neighborhood within short walking distance to just sit and look out at the beautiful view - great overall though
Can’t be beat for Kennebunkport rental.
Chickadee was the pe
My husband, 3 teen kids and I stayed at Chickadee and loved everything about it! It was super clean when we arrived, which is very important to me. Tons of space to spread out. Each of the kids had a friend visit for a night or 2 and they all had a blast. Location is perfect - we walked a lot, ran, rode our bikes, etc. Quick drive to beautiful beaches and downtown Kennebunkport. Cape Porpoise is a great spot and we will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend Deborah’s properties for anyone who wants a beautiful, clean, great location to stay in that area!
What wonderful space for our family of 14. Plenty of space especially the two screened in patios. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness and solitude.
Our host, Deborah was just fabulous and the house was perfect for our extended family reunion! We all hope to come back again! The house was exactly the way the pictures described and everything we needed was right there.
Beautiful and comfortable home. Very roomy. Cozy family room with fireplace. Spacious kitchen well stocked supplies My only request would be for more light in the master bedroom located off the family room
We had a fantastic time in this terrific house. It's a nice setup for a large group - it's set up like two 3BR houses connected in the middle by the common living room and kitchen. We were a smaller group than what the house could actually accommodate, and we enjoyed the space, but this setup is also perfect for multiple families vacationing together. Check in and check out could not have been any easier! Deborah was great, made sure we had all the info in one email. The house is spotless, and it has everything you'd need for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with nice appliances and all the dishes and silverware you need. There are plenty of beach and bath towels, sheets, and blankets; the beds and furniture are comfortable. There are two screened in porches to enjoy the breezes and read or snooze, and an unenclosed deck attached to one of them, for grilling and outdoor dining. The house is a quick 5-10 minute drive to all the restaurants and activities in Kennebunkport, including the beaches (Gooch's, Mother's, and Goose Rocks). It's also easily walkable (like 5 minutes) to a small grocery nearby and a couple of great little restaurants. We really enjoyed it here, and I recommend it highly. Deborah has thought of everything with this house, you will not be disappointed. We had a great time and hope to come back.
