Lost Branch on the Lake

Lost Branch on the lake was a great place for two families to converge from separate states. We reconnected with nature and each other, enjoying kayaking and canoeing, fishing, and watching the wildlife from the expansive deck. The nightlife was highlighted by a lake-view hot tub, cool evening temperatures and the gift of millions of stars. This was definitely a location that made us all appreciate the beauty of nature.It was a relatively short trip to Davis, and Blackwater Falls State Park, where the waterfalls did not disappoint.

Highly enjoyed it and recommend to others. It takes a little longer to reach Davis from this deep in Old Timberline than some other places in Canaan Valley, so may not be perfect for everyone if being closer to Davis and Thomas is important to you. But if you want to be near the little lake and have a view of it, while still fairly close to Timberline Mountain, this is a wonderful place for family groups. They were very helpful and responsive

Had a great time, it’s a very nice place and we will stay again. Air conditioning would help though. Have had nothing but good experience with Mountain Top Reality

Lost Branch By The Lake was amazing. We are already trying to get all of the family interested for next year. I would highly recommend this house. The booking process is very user friendly. As soon as I booked I immediately got an email back.

We had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Very responsive. Had an issue with the rental contract and having to resend, but that may have been due to post office issues?

The view and access to the mountains. Quick and convenient

The fireplace was great. Loved the openness of kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen was very clean as well as the bathrooms. Flawless

Was glad we could get in a little early. Due to covid no I interaction. You did not get e mail to me so I did have to ask for how and where to get keys etc.

Our stay was meant for time with family and this property was well suited for that. Because of Covid, we did not get to do some things we wanted to but that was out of everyone’s control. Prompt responses, clear instructions. Personnel at gate not super helpful but not impolite.

We loved Lost Branch on the Lake! We loved the hot tub with views of the sunset and lake! Very friendly.

Can't beat that porch view in the morning.
