Guntersville, Alabama
Welcome to Two Cabins Lodge, located on beautiful Lake Guntersville, in Guntersville, Alabama. Two Cabins Lodge is two pre-civil war log cabins that have been joined together and completely renovated. Made of almost 200 year old square cut logs, some over two (2) feet in width. There is a signature on one wall of the kitchen that presumably belonged to the original builder of the home and is dated August 4, 1859.
From the hardwood floors throughout the upper two levels, to the antique lumber on the ceilings; Two Cabins Lodge has been lovingly and carefully restored, with history preserved and all the modern conveniences added. Two Cabins Lodge has four bedrooms, five baths, and a two-story family room, eat-in kitchen with honed granite countertops, and large bonus room in the basement. Two Cabins Lodge was made for families, with sleeping room for 21 there is even a kid’s sleeping loft featuring built-in bunks for eight (8), with a large play area and TV.
The kitchen cabinets, table ,and all walls not originally made of log have been constructed form barn wood from a barn built in West Virginia in the early 1800's that was disassembled and dry stored. The floors are all made of reclaimed antique lumber, a combination of heart pine and poplar; they have been restored to their original luster. The impressive stair treads are made of solid three-inch thick planks of antique hickory and poplar. Many antique pieces of furniture have been combined with new pieces to make Two Cabins Lodge a wonderfully comfortable get away.

Our group had a wonderful time at Two Cabins! We were a large group of 12 guys on a company fishing/golfing retreat and Lake Guntersville was a perfect location. The lodge was very well equipped and certainly has the charm of a renovated old log cabin.
Will stay here again!
The overall stay was good the cabin had everything we needed for cooking sleeping and relaxing. Only thing we didnt have enough toilet paper and wood pile was empty for fire pit but we made do with the kids picking up sticks in the yard to make a fire we did smores and fished a little at the dock. We did not use any out door equipment or grills my family already brought there kyacks and we only cooked indoors,Everything was accessible..everything was amazing had a wonderful time..thank you so much.. We (3 generations) all really enjoyed our stay. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen is a dream to cook in. It literally has everything you need. Lots of games in the playroom for all ages. We spent most of our time on the screened porch as the weather was beautiful. The neighbors are extremely nice and let the grandkids throw some fish food from their dock to watch the fish and turtles feed. The pool and porches were dirty upon arrival due to a storm that hit the area but management took immediate care to have it cleaned and we enjoyed it the entire stay. Lake is full of vegetation and you can’t swim but we were able to fish and get on pontoon boat to the dock.
Exceptional property, very comfortable and accommodating for a large group. Would definitely re-book in the future. Close enough to amenities in town and still a very quite pleasant location. We played golf for 2 days at Eagles Nest and location was great.
Played 5 local area courses and stayed at this VRBO property. Lots of n=beds and baths. Kitchen fully equipped with double burner coffee pot was great (14 adult males). Easy ride to Guntersville and access north to Huntsville and south. Cabin is rustic but very nice. Had a bad thunderstorm and zero problems.
We had a great time!!
Plenty of room for fun for all
We had an excellent stay at the cabin. Everything was awesome. The only thing was the swimming pool water was ice cold. It does not have any sun hitting it to warm it up.
Great!
