Clean and functional accommodations. Everything we needed to cook breakfast and make coffee. Susan was a very pleasant host. Nice compromise between a place “in” Bozeman and a more remotely situated cabin. Considered both, split the difference, and it worked out well.
Can’t say enough about this property. Susan was an excellent host. The views are stunning, the property overall is stunning I highly recommend.
It was a quiet hill side house tucked away off the main road. Not too far from town but far enough. The house had everything you needed. We saw deer off the back porch. The highlights were the sunrise and sunset. Landscaping and small details around the home were really well done. We did not get to spend much time down at the pond area, but it was really nice and only a short walk from the house.
What a fantastic place! Location was beautiful and peaceful. Property well taken and very clean - made me feel as if at home. Communication with owner was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you for a great experience on our family vacation!! Simply awesome.
Everything about this lovely little home is beautiful! From the charming interior to the amazing views! The home is well appointed, and Susan was so welcoming and helpful! We spent time at the pond canoeing, identifying wildflowers and playing in the sand. The deck has the most spectacular view and the sunsets were amazing! We have stayed before and will be back again! This place truly is a gem!!
Close to Bozeman and remote feeling cabin! Easy check in and great communication with owner!
The host was wonderful. She has about 20 acres on top of a beautiful hill. She walked us down to a pond with canoes and a bocce ball court, and all around the property/cabin. We had a terrific time. She has a magical place.
Susan's cabin was a perfect getaway for us. Situated just a few miles from downtown Bozeman, the cabin had amazing views of the mountains and a rustic feel. The place was very clean and well stocked for our needs. The beds were quite comfortable. We enjoyed just watching the sunset from the deck in the evenings and playing with Alta in the mornings. There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.
A very relaxing, beautiful location. Cabin was fully stocked with all amenities except a dryer. It was on order but had not arrived. The owner was very accommodating to all our needs, including the offer to dry our clothes at her house & bring them back to us.
We rented Susan's place for 9 nights to visit our son in Bozeman. The house is very well appointed, comfortable, cozy and welcoming. It was close enough to Bozeman to easily go back and forth and we skied Bridger Bowl twice. There are lovely cross country ski trails on the farm/orchard right below the property. We were able to cook full meals and host our son and his roomates. The house is nestled up on the hill right past Susan's home. It is completely private. The architecture on both homes is stunning.
What a wonderful place this is. Nestled in the foothills just outside of town—close to town, but feels like worlds away from it. Perched on the hill in the trees, it’s so peaceful and nice. Incredible views of the mountains and a feeling of being immersed in nature. Cabin was very nice and very comfortable!! Kitchen was really well stocked. Did a lot of cooking and relaxing. A mobile massage (MT Massage—Sandra) came to the cabin and it was the perfect setting for it. We will be back. Would love to come during summer and hang by the pond!! A wonderful experience
We stayed for a week to ski at Big Sky and Bridger Bowl. The property was very clean and was wonderful to return to after skiing all day.
Such a beautiful, warm, and inviting cabin for our family of four! We had everything we needed to be able to stay and enjoy our time together in the cabin and also super easy to go out and explore the Bozeman and surrounding area! The property was beautiful and offered beautiful views, fun sledding,, and great walks with the kids. Susan was so friendly and welcoming!! She even had the table decorated for us to be able to have a festive thanksgiving away from home!
Relaxing getaway but close enough to Bozeman for great food and activities. For those not used to a train horn at night, might want ear plugs. : ) House had all necessary amenities including comfortable outdoor seating in 3 different locations.
This place was everything it was promoted to be and then some. Log cabin, beautiful sunsets, dip in the pond, bocci, and time with family. If I’m back in Bozeman, I’m staying here again!!!!
Beautiful welcoming space with amazing views. The kitchen was well stocked with all you need to cook during you stay. The bathrooms we’re very nice with a wonderful shower. All of this within 10 minutes of downtown Bozeman. We would definitely stay again.
An amazing home surrounded by gorgeous scenery! Such a fun outside space with beautiful gardens & little hidden treasures everywhere. The attention to detail both inside & out was incredible. 3 outside areas to sit which was perfect depending on the time of day. Absolutely loved this home & hope to have a reason to come back!
Our family was looking for the perfect Montana experience and wow, did we ever get it!! The house/cabin was clean, neat, organized and stocked with all necessities and super comfortable. The views, property and drive into the property were stunning! The deck was the perfect place for morning coffee! The wildlife was up close and personal! The location was quite and private yet sooo close to Bozeman. Gallatin and Livingston are short hops as well. Susan the owner was responsive and helpful and her pride of ownership is evident in this property. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again! We know where we are going when we come back!
We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this beautiful vacation home to anyone looking to stay near Bozeman.
4 days. Property and home are outstanding. We travel all over and this was one of the best
We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The home was super clean, the host was friendly and easy to communicate with, the location can’t be beat with the mountains everywhere you look, and the owner’s dog Alta was super adorable as she lead us around the property chasing her pine cone. We will definitely stay here again!
